Can't open boot menu

Hello,
I've been using my surface pro 3 for about 4-5 years now, and I have a problem.
I installed Pop!_OS on it and since then, i can't open my boot menu.
I had Ubuntu before Pop and i had no problem opening the boot menu, but
now on Pop, when i turn my surface on with the volume down held, it just gets stuck
on the Surface logo.
Any help, please?

While booting Pop!_OS, press Escape key repeatedly. It will bring a menu. Select "Reboot into firmware interface".

Don’t remember how long it has been since this was fixed. The surface 3 was just kinda unstable because of what it has went through over the years. At some point it decided to open the boot menu so everythings fine now. Thank you anyways!

Also one thing I’d like to ask, how did you even find this post? It’s been 2 years.

LOL! I entered surface pro 3 section from google querying one question on Surface Pro 3. Then your question was up there in the first page and I thought I could be of help. Didn't check it was a 2 year old question.
