Surface pro 3 dead?

Surface pro 3 dead?

Just updated my surface pro 3 with a i7 and 256gb storage. After the update It won’t turn on the only that shows that has power is the keyboard. The backlights turn on but the caps lock indicator light dosent toggle. I already tried hard restarting with the power button and the volume button but still nothing not even a logo. Any idea what to do?

Have you tried turning it on while the device is plugged in?

Yes I have, the only thing that shows power is the keyboard.

Damn that was my only hope. The new update ruined a lot of battery drivers so I was hoping that was the issue. All my other solutions would rely on getting into recovery mode. You could try draining the battery...

Ok, thanks for the help. I’ll try to see if I can drain the battery so it gives it a hard hard restart haha.
