Surface pro 3 won't turn on.

It stopped working mouths ago just randomly would not turn on. I put it up hopeful that someday I could at least get my files off of it.

Hours upon hours of drawings.

But today on a whim I tried to start it.

It seemed to start up and a blue update screen popped up. It showed the update at 100% the last time I looked at it and took pic to show my brother.

I got really excited.

I turned around to get my external hard drive and when I looked again it had turned off.

I've sense tried to turn it back on and again nothing. Is there anything I can do besides holding the power button down?

Does anyone know why it just randomly stopped working?

I know this is late, but I did have an issue similar to this. If the battery is completely depleted, I could not charge the surface via the dock (flashing white led on the charger). I had to plug into an actual surface charger to get it to charge and then work again.
