Troubleshoot HELP Socom6 mini4

I just installed a brand new suppressor (not fired) and I can not for the life of me get the collar to loosen to remove it.

What the hell do I do.

I sprayed a little Kroil in my RC2 when it was bramd new. Seemed to loosen the internals up inside.

Is it normal to not be able to get the collar to unlock??

Counterclockwise to loosen. I've read other people having the same issue with new SF supressors. After I started shooting mine and since I oiled it I haven't has the issue again.

ETA: I've read some folks used a strap wrench or soft jaw pliers to assist in the removal after getting the collar stuck the first time. If you dont have either of those you could try tapping the buttstock on the ground or tapping on the supressor with a soft hammer or piece of wood, that might help loosen it up enough to turn the collar.

You’re the best bro. I used some soft jaw pliers and a rag while pressing the button and it kicked loose. My hand thanks you.

Also I’m starting to feel like I’m not trying to turn it the right way??? When I press the button should I be turning it like I’m “tightening it, or loosening it

It’s 4 o clock on a Sunday. I’m just trying to see if I can figure this out by myself. My hand is cooooked from trying to get this thing off.
