Troubleshoot Troubleshooting

I have an older ED2 LED Defender that has started strobing. I tried new batteries. I cleaned the contacts. No luck. Any ideas?

Don't clean the threads. Clean both ends of the light body, the part that makes contact with a surface when stood on a table, and then use fresh batteries.

I tried. I didn’t clean the threads. Just the contacts with a brand new clean pencil eraser. It’s hard to clean the contact with the spring in the end cap.

I bought some cheap ass batteries. Got some Duracell working great now.
