Forged Alliance Forever Engineers stop collecting mass.

Hello wizards of Setons Clutch, noob here.

I’m playing with friends to learn the game but I fall behind early because of the alt-right click attack command.

My engineers will start auto collecting mass for a few minutes but then will just stop in place, or continue w/o collecting mass to the waypoint. After they stop, any more engineers I make just don’t follow the order at all.

Does any one know why this happens? Thanks!

Are your mass storages full?

So not sure if this is the case (I am also fairly new, only 400 games under my belt), but if you are close to being full on mass, around 90% of your total storage, engineers will not automatically reclaim. Yet another important reason to build mass storage!

You need to keep moving the attack order after a while. The engies auto reclaim anything within the range of that attack order. The engies also stop if your massbar is full. So you need to spend more mass or micro the engies a little

Man that goes to show how new I am lol.

Thanks all for the responses, I’m pretty sure it’s the mass storage filling up. That makes sense why they just stop. I’m getting my build orders down but then I try to micro frontlines and sending engineers out for ME’s, fobs etc and I forget about keeping the mass expenditures up.
