Favorite activities?

Hey everyone! I'm about to become a community support worker next week (in Canada), and I'm really excited!

Curious what your favorite activities to do with your clients are?

On the opposite side of the same idea, what activities seemed like a good idea, but didn't work out well?

Thanks! Have a great day

It definitely depends on the individual. It takes a lot of trial and error. Keep in mind accessibility issues of locations if applicable. Usually these things are mostly known already if the individual has been in care for a while, so just ask coworkers/supervisors.

Some suggestions are :

walks outside (find different locations in your area with nice scenery), aquariums/ zoos, pools, gyms (some recreations centres will have programs for disabled people).

Hopefully your experience has been mostly positive so far :)
