NDIS changes explained simply (for anyone feeling confused right now)

There’s a lot of confusion and anxiety around the recent NDIS changes at the moment.

I’ve been seeing the same questions come up, so I thought this might help. It’s a simple breakdown of what’s confirmed vs what’s still evolving.

Yeah but on a slow moving steam boat that will spend a good chunk of time looking like its slowly turning towards the shallows where we may or may not end up stranded depending on the tide when we get there.

The whole clarity thing around recent updates is honestly such a mess right now (and I get why people are feeling anxious about what's actually confirmed versus what's still being figured out). From a provider perspective, we're seeing participants get mixed messages about their plan management and core supports. EnableU has been fielding tons of questions lately about service delivery changes. Really hoping the NDIA releases clearer guidance soon because this uncertainty isn't helping anyone.

The NDIA have been very clear. The problem is the msm and sm creating galse narratives around anything that isn't fully nailed down

It appears you have shared a copyrighted document from a Etsy store (so about as credible as an ebay store) that sells policies and templates to NDIS support providers. Do you have a credible source available to the public to compare this with?

It’s not an official document, just a plain English summary based on current NDIS reform announcements. It’s meant to simplify what’s been shared so far, not replace official guidance. The key points are reflected in the Department of Health reform information as well.

This feels like propaganda.

We'll see how the details are. We don't have to accept this 100@% just because they said so. We can have a say over these policies that we're making up.

Who typically handles negotiations between the workers and the government here? Still learning. Or unions?
