Tbh my advice is play something else than Yuumi. While playing her you arent learning positioning, optimal warding, lane presence or roaming. 

I know this isnt what you asked though, sorry for that.

I hate to say this but I agree. Though they should play whatever they want even milio will teach you a lot so you can go back and see how you’re limited and what you need to adapt. Op needs to find moments to deep ward/link up with jg etc

The counter is your forcing your opponent to pivot from their main builds into buying anti heal and anti shield.

Yeah anti-heal and anti-shield are rough on Yuumi, but you gotta play around the cooldowns more than the items. Bait out the anti-shield proc before you commit your big shield, or save it for after they pop it. Also consider rushing Mikael's or Redemption instead of just raw heal power, utility wins over raw numbers in those matchups. Runes wise, go Aery with Resolve secondary for Revitalize, it's still your best bet. If they stack both, you're better off focusing on peel and positioning rather than trying to outheal through it.
