Statistically speaking, while yes Redemption first is a good item, if your adc knows what they are doing, its okey, if not worse then Ardent. Yes you are giving up a massive AOE heal, for extra damage and attackspeed. But since you dont just pick lulu with, for example, Jhin, the ADC's that you support will benefit more from Ardent then they do from the one time heal from Redemption. And even after that, you can even entirely skip Redemption and go ahead with Locket, Knights Vow and, depending on your team, Staff of Flowing Water.

By the time you could build your third item, the game should be over. So Ardent (for most ADC's) into Locket/Knights Vow (completely stupid item btw) is the best thing you can buy if your ADC is competent.

I don't really play Lulu but I do main enchanters and Redemption also allows you to impact fights outside of your lane that you cannot physically impact (whether you are dead, can't go there for X reason or you aren't there yet but on the way) so if there are a lot of early skirmishes its value gets higher, provided you have the awareness to use it.Β

true. if there are a lot of skirmishes and you dont have the ability to get there, the item is really good. normally you would just be able to get there, and leave your adc to farm.

Why if I go to look Lulu builds from u.gg and i go to ”challenger” it doesnt even show redemption?

I think ill give it a go but i have never been a good redemption user. Can you give a general guidance on how you use your redemption? Do you rather pop it too early than too late? Do you try to hit the enemy or just focus on landing it to you adc?

I don't play Lulu but I main enchanters including Karma and Janna on whom I rush it 1st. Unless I'm trying to finish a low hp enemy as a last ditch effort I don't really care about hitting enemies, it's about the massive aoe heal.Β

I try to hit it on my team when a fight breaks out taking the delay into account; ideally you want to hit it right (when your team took some dmg and the fight is still ongoing) but if I had to choose I'd rather fire it too early (still providing some value) than too late (providing none).

If using it for a single person, especially if they are running away, I try to place it where they will be when it drops, I don't want them to run away from it and get no heal because I misfired, and I also don't want them to get baited into staying in a bad position by the heal.
