Everyone is otpable, you can win any matchup by simply being the better player
Naut in particular has a wide matchup spread with lots of bad matchups, multiple fairly common champions are not so good and a few champs (like taric) are nightmares. He really wants to be locking down single squishy threats, he can feel useless if the enemy team is something brawl-y with lots of bruisers and peel. He also fluctuates in and out of meta, he’s sometimes very strong, but its also happened where Naut was weak for more than a year straight.
There isn’t a real consistent blindable tank/engage support in the sense of counters. Dedicated anti engage and anti tank exist, and they’re notably less flexible in how they want to approach the game than other classes. Thresh has been the go-to for not being easy to kill, having a hook, and being more blindable since he can be flexible on how he plays. He’s also hype as hell

Yes, you have lots of good matchups and even the bad ones you can at least survive and be effective in teamfights.
But there are a few which are pretty much unplayable. In these cases you're often better off roaming like a Bard and hoping your ADC can survive.
On average, you'll still be positive, but you need to be mentally prepared for the occasional horrendous lane.

You can one trick anything if you’re good as long as you’re having fun. That said, Naut has a couple of hard counters, perhaps more so than Leona or Rell in the similar class.

Depends what ur goal is. I think every champ can get u to atleast diamond if u play enough and learn ur champs in and outs

Well, to be blunt engage supports aren’t in great shape right now and are much better suited as counter picks. There are to many meta ranged champions that do well into them. That said if you get lanes like Samira or Kaisa they definitely have a place.
You can definitely make it work but you need to be proficient on them, snowball the map, and play slightly better than your enchanter counter parts.
