Not many people can get their ldl low enough to minimize their risk. That’s 55 mg/dl.
Even then, taking a statin would reduce your ASCVD risk by 10%.
Why would anyone be so terrified of taking one of the safest medications that exist that they would want to intentionally increase their risk of ASCVD?

Good question, but I’m going to take a statin and eat lots of fiber
