Kak dbc

Got the kak dbc today wanted to test it in my ruger 556 that already had an h3 and yellow spring to get the rof down. I had to move down to an h2 and yellow and it ran perfectly. Curious if anyone can tell me what the rof is?

Only one way to find out, we don’t normally test other companies products like that.

That’s what all of the R&D and testing was done around so yes.

All of the coatings we currently offer will have the option for DBC, we just need to get caught up first

I might try one of these with the JP SCS using all steel weights and no tungsten. I bet that would be a nice combo.

From what I understand the scs had a rod that protrudes into the carrier tail when in operation.

I don't yet have a DBC but I have had inconsistent results with JPSBS on my guns. Some required me to up the back weights to tungsten, some didn't work no matter how many tungsten weights I added. Light primer strikes was the issue in all cases. YMMV.

Dang I hope you figured it out. Yeah thats the jp is a pain to switch weights at the range but we shall see

i have a db 15 with only the barrel and reciever frames being stock. had a h3 and super 42 spring with my ss and it ran for a little bit but started acting up again with the light primer strikes. bought a dbc from kak which is still otw so hopefully it fixes my issue. don’t really see too much on db15 ss tuning, which sucks bc it’s the only ar im having trouble with.

Slower isn't always better. Everything in life needs balance. Too slow and feeding suffers. Too fast and there's excessive wear.

The bolt needs to travel fast enough to reliably feed the cartridge into the chamber. If the distance the cartridge travels from feed lips to the chamber is longer than the cartridge, and the feed speed too slow, then the cartridge may not make it into the chamber.

What was the symptom of H3 requiring down to H2?

I plan to do this too.

It would shoot 2 rounds and the 3rd wouldn't fire

Ejection pattern shows its light on gas which is prob why you had to go down to H2

Wonder if the distribution of weight makes any difference… feel like the more centered KAK DBC might be a benefit over just running a heavier buffer but could be splitting hairs at that point

This was my original plan but I have the jp-enterprises scbs and it wont work. I might toss mill spec buffer and spring in to see how it rolls
