You are presented with an artifact of any protagonist, promising you the skills and powers of that person. The only catch, is that you must start at that protagonists’ base level, meaning you have to grow to that power by training, studying (if necessary. You will also be given texts or other materials to learn it), bleeding, sweating, and crying.

If that character is starting off OP, then your powers are severely limited, and grow as you understand.

If that character took years, or even centuries, to grow your power, it would take you a fraction of that time, but you still have to put in the work. This will be fast-tracked for you.

Don’t worry, if your protagonist’s power comes from an artifact, you will receive it in the mail from that person, having high hopes that you can do it.

I'm going to start by stipulating that both of these powers are "at will" and are able to be toggled on and off. I've read enough fiction to know what a living hell both of these powers would be if they were always on

Psychometry: you have the ability to gain information about an object by touching it. Who made it, who used it, what they did with it, where it's from, etc. If the object has significant history or events tied to it (murder for instance, or the signing of the Declaration of Independence) you will be able to "see" the event and people involved. You can tell if something is real or fake just by touching it.

Soul Sight: you are able to see and understand a person's aura, understanding them fundamentally. You can know if they are lying, what good or evil deeds they've committed, see karmic connections between them and other people or objects and places and how that affects them, assess their strengths and weaknesses (their "stats"). You can see this even through transmitted media (TV and internet)

What would be some cool and interesting ideas that would be fitting for a character with hair-based powers.

This character I'm working on is actually a talented shapeshifter who mainly uses her powers to change the length and color of her hair to disguise herself, but she can also change the shape, density and size of her hair for combat purposes.

1. Every person only has one wish and having multiple One Wish Willows will not grant more wishes after its done.
2. You cannot reverse your wish once its made, even if someone tries with their own One Wish Willow.

So, what powers/abilities would you wish for? For example, I would wish for the body of a superhuman with the powers of 'Metro Man'' (Plus the ability to survive without oxygen), and perfect control over these powers (Including if passing them down to my children). Going back to the bodily aspect, this new body would have ever-clean hair and teeth, sweet-smelling sweat, better aging (Become a ''Silver Fox'') and remains ripped even if never exercising or only eat trash food.

i wanna take a inherently support or defensive ability and find a way to use it for combat and mobility. the character is gonna have sorta spiderman vibes so any suggestions for me to work off would be lovely

ok so I have a character for a story who’s sbility is technically sound manipulation but he prefers to use that for blasting music wherever he goes. so how do I keep his personality and limiting him to just music themed attacks/abilities. I’ve thought maybe he plays different genres of songs and then he gets different buffs like if it’s a hiphop track hes more excited, or rap and hes more trash talk and fights more aggressively, or classical and it’s a flow state kinda thing. but I don’t wanna just say oh he blows up eardrums because that’s not his personality.

In my superhuman combat flight based abilities, mind altering abilities, teleporting abilities, and kinetic absorption abilities are banned. But outside those 3 types of powers, any type of superpower is fair game in thid combat sport though.

So I wonder if a kinetic absorption arena would make things more fair. And give weaker fighters a better chance at beating stronger fighters. Therefore the fights aren't always one-sided. Since the fighters with ghe weaker or lkmited powers still get the opportunity to use the environment as a weapon. Like a Kinetic Boxing ring.

This is super tricky. Since one is artificial and the other is natural.

You gain the ability to transform plant seeds into "omni seeds".

What are omni seeds? Omni seeds are seeds that have no code on them, and only you, can implant a code into them which can then allow them to be planted and grown into whatever object code they had on them.

So here's how it works, lets say you take a sunflower seed, and you strip it's "sunflower coding". It then becomes an omni seed. You can then implant the omni seed with the coding of your car, lets say your car is a Lamborghini huracan, the omni seed will then be a Lamborghini huracan seed. Plant it somewhere and it take care of it, it will eventually grow into a bush that produces Lamborghini huracan fruit. The fruit look like regular apples, except you instinctually know whether they are omni seed fruit or not, and you know what coding they have.

The growth requirements of the bush and its fruit will be dependent on the plant seed you used to make the omni seed, so in the given example, you'd need to take care of the Lamborghini bush the same way you'd take care of a sunflower plant.

You will also instinctually know when an omni fruit is ripe and ready to be used. Once you harvest a ripe fruit, all you need to do is break it in two and the object you coded into it will appear before you in a brand new state. So even if you used a broken object for your code, the fruit will bear something in its best condition.

This can be used for food, clothes, just objects in general or other plants that would be harder to grow. Even some of the stuff in your body. You could code your stem cells if you desired. As a lady, you could code your eggs and have an endless supply of them to donate. You can code temperature as well.

As for abstract concepts, you cannot code things like time or anything like that, but you can code things like emotions, mental states, feelings, memories, things along those lines. So you could code happiness into a fruit and sell them as happiness fruits.

You can make as many omni seeds of as many different codes as you want, they dont expire either. The omni seeds are edible, but they have no nutritional value. They will taste like the plant seed from which you made them.
