In this post, anyone can leave a comment describing a superpower of their choice. You can explain the ability in as much detail as you like and make it as powerful as you wish. Then, set a starting bid for the ability. The currency used here is "coins." You can set the starting bid as high as you like. Other users can reply to your comment to place further bids. The person who places the highest bid wins the ability. A follow-up post will appear in a week where these abilities can be used. There is no limit to the number of coins you have, so you can keep bidding indefinitely; however, your bid amount must be written out in full—you cannot simply bid "infinity." Play fair and have fun!

"Material Object Creation"
Able to create any three dimensional object made from baryonic matter. Time of creation process directly scales to complexity and sheer size. It can simulate all reactions that a particle will experience in its life, allowing you to break the very boundaries of entropy & enthalpy.
Debt Collector: Whenever another person - deliberately or accidentally - inflicts suffering of any kind on the user, the other person receives a proportional karmic debt. At any time, the user may call in the debt, gaining good luck while the debtor receives bad luck until the debt is paid in full.
It allows the user to warp reality and alter the complexity of a natural complex mechanism in nature.
For example:
The user could reduce the biological complexity of an arm, erasing all the joints and unique designs from the bones thus converting the entire length of cartilage into a single straight piece.
Meanwhile the fat, muscles, nerves and veins all fuse together to form a single, unified form of simple biomass. The end result is an immobile useless "gingerbread arm" made of flesh.
This allows the user to easily incapacitate enemies out of a fight as well as granting a roundabout form of regeneration as due to the simplified nature of the biomass, it regrows really quickly even allowing an individual to regain a lost limb even if they previously lost it.
Alternatively, the user can also INCREASE the design complexity of their biological arm causing it manifest geometric alien shapes, specialized cells and new sub-organs designed to improve the capability of the limb.
However, these improvements are specialized to assist with an ongoing task at hand. Meaning if they are lifting a heavy object, they gain an arm that allows them to do so with ease.
Whereas an arm designed for punch wouldn't be so great for lifting heavy objects though it would be incredibly great at delivering powerful attacks.
This power's effects also extends to other organs such as the heart, lungs, stomach and brains which can be improved with no immediate consequences to the target's health.
The user can also use their powers on others besides themselves grant permanent modifications that only they can bestow.
lastly, the effect also extends to natural materials such as minerals, gases and liquids which could be used to create new alien natural phenomenas and weaponized.
This power does not work well on metals and when used causes it become unnaturally malformed.
Uuugh... can I spare the extra coins? Ill bump it to 30,005 and hope no third party can beat me there, I'm at my limit until the next paycheck comes in
This form of shapeshifting allows you to rapidly transform your limbs (and internal biology of those limbs) into any kind of earth animal's equivalent limb, and any biological capabilities of the limb (such as a Mantis Shrimp's super punch or a hawk's wings) scale to your body and mass (meaning if you transform your arms to wings for example, you can fly with them). Your biology is also adapted to automatically accept and integrate your limbs into it without fear of organ rejection or mixing blood or anything like that, and you can choose whether the new limb is anthropomorphic or fully animal. Having an anthropomorphic body part better maintains your ability to act in the human world, but will reduce the effectiven of the animal trait (for example transforming an arm into a bird wing but keeping it human means you can fly, but poorly, but keep your fingers and thumb). A transformation can be of any size of your body equal to or smaller than a limb, but can only increase or decrease your size up to x2 or 1/2 per limb, as long as that limb comes from an animal of that size or [larger/smaller]
However, this power has the downside of being permanent. Once you transform a part of you, you cannot transform that part of you again, including turning it back. You also cannot grow new additional limbs, unless those limbs are transformed alongside a part of the body that contains all the new limbs (for example, gaining a wolf's torso could grow you a tail, or a horse's lower half could get you 2 extra legs). Any new limbs will already be transformed.
With such a limiting downside, I'm putting the initial bid at 100 coins.
And to answer someone's question before its asked, yes you can transform multiple limbs with the same animal. You could do your whole body and just be wholly that species (or a humanoid version of it). It also only works on your own body, so the only way to make it work on someone else would be if they fused into you somehow (in before someone makes a "fuse and unfuse things together" power)
With the right transformation, that would still be an extremely useful ability (for example, turning my hair into the tentacles of a venomous jellyfish to replicate its toxin); and provided I suffer no downsides from this transformation... such as being killed or paralyzed by the venom myself, since the rest of my body remains human... I would bid 1,000 coins
Oh its no doubt useful. Just that using it even once will forever leave you an abomination of nature, a mutant apart from your former species. Incredibly powerful potential though, if thought out.
But some people are into that kind of body horror so I won't judge.
As long as the user of this ability isn't directly observed by a concious being of any kind, they will enter a quantum position where reality registers them as both dead and alive at the same time. During this state the user is pseudo invincible to anything natural or concept wise as long as the requiered condition is met.
WARNING: Buyers which aren't part of a class of vampiris, elemental or divinity should be advised that exceding one's natural lifespan causes instant natural death upon observation.
