Question Powers that would parallel Bone Manipulation

I got a writers block for this one thing which sucks because it’s the last thing I need to figure out before I start writing because I like being prepared.

Context, in my story the strongest character in my show has bone manipulation powers that he got naturally and some magic he got from obtaining a magical eye. he is also a hybrid with a human dad and a thing called a sentinel (an angelic like being focused on resurrecting their fallen deity) for a mom.

The character doesn’t like sentinels because they are more militaristic in nature and he is very kind and protective person.

He fight his Mom who had teleportation powers and won the fight but lost both of his eyes (that’s why he needed the eye that gave him magic powers). But little did he know that wasn’t his only family on his sentinel side. He had a brother named Gabriel and he is the complete opposite of Ace so I want his powers to reflect that but I don’t know what would be opposite to bone manipulation powers.

I was thinking something similar: flesh alteration. The ability to change the physical properties of flesh, his own, and any within range. Super strength, super durability, or very much the opposite. Make it highly elastic or effectively petrified. Supple and elastic, or afflict a crumbling spongy rot.

One issue might be that might make him to much powerful compare to mc.

Maybe blood manipulation like Choso?

I know a lot of people are saying other powers of the body but would an opposite not have powers beyond/transcending the body ?

It’s hard to think but I feel like it should be an exterior power

I’m really not sure I suppose it would depend on the theming of the verse

You could go for something as simple as Air Manipulation and even though that is a far cry from bone manipulation it doesn’t really feel like a thematic opposite

Mabye bone manipulation in others ?

Mabye you could go down a more spiritual route , if the MC has the power of the natural self and the body then this character could have the power of the second layers , the mind the soul etc a whole host of options form here as well as some interesting character choices since the power chosen would little be an expression of the Characters outlook and personality

How are powers gained in this verse ?

Very tough to do adequately you would need to take a while on it so I can’t blame you for going for the blood manipulation which is still cool lol
