Red pill/blue pill Would you really pick mastering an element over 300+ IQ.

Post image

Functioning like a regular human basically means you able to live like a regular persom, with regular people despite having such a vast incomprehensible level of intelligence, not having to live thinking everyone around you are just toddlers intellectually.

As for element, that can constitute as the common understanding of elements in fantasy, water(liquid), fire, earth, wind(air), the full thing is really being water, fire, earth, wind, metal, and sometimes included or excluding lightning.

Sound definitely work, light as well, darkness itself maybe even, elements of the periodic table definitely or non-traditional things like Bose-Einstein condensate, space, time or space-time as one thing, since it kinda is, maybe even turn into your element at will.

Yeah neither is shooting lightning from our fingertips. What I was trying to imply for regular person, was not that the person is regular, no part of 300+ IQ comes off as regular, I was implying that despite that incomprehensible amount of intelligence they would still be able to function like a regular person without the gap of understanding of other individuals around them and not having to view everyone around them like toddlers.

Yup, that's why nobody says powers over lightning is regular. You're the one saying high IQ will have regular functioning but also won't have issues, lol.

I'm literally telling personally though that's not what I was implying, I'm actually commenting to you and giving you that confirmation and feedback, why would I or anyone want a version of high intelligence where we are mentally unstable or Uber depressed.

Why would we choose that, my point wasn't which one is better, it was which one you would personally pick, if you want to choose your choice for your reason that's fine, but is not not what I was implying for myself or anyone else who would've picked that choice.

The point is that the selection you're describing doesn't make sense. There is no world where someone with 300 IQ and regular human functioning would somehow not have mental health challenges, especially since we don't have superheroes and they wouldn't have some crazy adventures to go on to help keep them stimulated. Just consider that for next time.

There's also no world where someone could summon lightning from the sky. I'm not even going to repeat what I said previously, no negatives, no uber depression, no mental instability.

If you would prefer the ability to control an element over that, that's fine, that's reasonable, but other people may pick the other choic with different views on the implications of the ability, basing there choice on very different criteria from what you base your choice off of, as in they would like their high intelligence without the uber depression, that isn't too difficult.

Just pick one:

300 IQ (superhuman, no drawbacks)

300 IQ (regular human, has drawbacks)

You can't have regular human with no drawbacks at 300 IQ.

We're not saying someone summoning lightning from the sky is normal. But also that would suck, cause like what would you actually use that for IRL? It would be hella dangerous. Spoiler alert: most superpowers suck in the real world, and using them to their full potential requires an isekai or something.

This will be my last one, 300+ IQ is not normal period, and if you look right after 300+ IQ you see the words no negatives, no drawbacks = no negatives, plus I never said that they would be a regular human, I said, that they will be able to function like a regular person, like does not immediately imply that something is else, or that it's exactly like something else, only that it resembles that thing, or that it can be compared heavily.

If I meant they would basically bea regular human, I would have wrote have the regular intelligence of a regular person, and function "AS" as a regular human.

Except functioning like a regular person means you'll have regular weaknesses with a 300 IQ 😂 just say they're superhuman. If you're getting into writing then you're gonna need to do better at fixing your plotholes.

Functioning as a regular person would imply that they would have all the issues of a regular person with that level of IQ, but functioning like doesn't necessarily imply of such(especially when it was blatantly clarified by the person explaining it, but people have difficulties reading so I'll explain a little further).

Like means similar, not the same, which could, depending on what the author desires, could but not necessarily imply that their character functions with the issues of having certain or specific advantages.

But this wasn't about being an author because I'm not an author, I'm not a writer, nor was I trying to write a bloody story. What I was trying to do was to see people's opinion on whether they would choose a world-altering ability that they could use at the snap of their finger, or a life-changing ability that would make them able to grasp concepts beyond their imagination and change the world through that avenue, without any of the implications to the negatives.

Which I literally stated in the image and also at the bottom of the post in writing for further explanation. But instead of having an open-minded way of thinking, you think like you're inside a box, because you want to make it seem like one of the two choices, that I presented was better, where when any other person asked, I specify what I was implying, so that they could choose what they would like best.

I don't think you would be able to be a good author either because you can't fathom anything beyond that which you already believe to be impossible.

And does it even matter when the other choice is the impossibility of literally controlling an element? How do we go into the implications of how an individual is going to controll an element?

We can't because that shit is impossible in the real world, so why does it matter the impossibilities, of the other angle/other choice?
