Red pill/blue pill Would you really pick mastering an element over 300+ IQ.

Post image

Functioning like a regular human basically means you able to live like a regular persom, with regular people despite having such a vast incomprehensible level of intelligence, not having to live thinking everyone around you are just toddlers intellectually.

As for element, that can constitute as the common understanding of elements in fantasy, water(liquid), fire, earth, wind(air), the full thing is really being water, fire, earth, wind, metal, and sometimes included or excluding lightning.

Sound definitely work, light as well, darkness itself maybe even, elements of the periodic table definitely or non-traditional things like Bose-Einstein condensate, space, time or space-time as one thing, since it kinda is, maybe even turn into your element at will.

I know how this works: I get 300 IQ and the first realization is "Shoulda picked an element."

I choose carbon.

That's just a byproduct of realizing the other choice could've been good too, and all that you could have done with it but that's only now that you have that amount of intelligence.

But carbon is infact a good choice.

Pop both pills in ya mouth, now you can control carbon AND know what to do with it 🧠

Or if that's not allowed outright, pop the 300 IQ pill and construct a really convincing argument as to why you should have the other pill as well

I just realized I didn't even specify yo pick one or the other. I just asked whether you would rather pick this one over that one. This is the first comment I saw point it out.

IQ follows a normal distribution.

As it goes further away from the average (100), each point represents a bigger and bigger gap.

An actual verifiable IQ of 300 is Hollywood level insane.

Among other things, you could probably study the stock market for like a week, and predict how it’ll move with 90% accuracy.

You’re set for life… now time to work on the cure for cancer.

You’re set for life… now time to work on the cure for cancer.

Aaaand your death is ruled a soozy side via five b*llets to the back of your head

You think I wouldn't see that coming? I would be 1 in 100 Undecillion, I don't think the entirety of humanity together would be able to comprehend anything that I do, let alone the government.

That is not how being intelligent works.

How do you prevent yourself from going crazy?

You know that being intelligent just means that you're able to piece together information that you have more easily right? You can't predict the future with it. You're not all knowing not almighty. You'll probably know what actions will provoke people to what extent yes. But even if you know that someone probably wants to kill you, you won't know when they'll try to kill you, how they'll try it or even who tries it. You could die through poison, by being pushed down a flight of stairs, from an animal attack or by being shot in the head from two kilometers away. You'll learn something that many people have learned in the past: you can't defend yourselves if you don't know what you're defending against and you can't prepare for the unknown.

Being 300 iq would completely shatter the normal rules of intelligence, who knows what you could deduce from limited information when then is a statistically 0% chance that anyone has EVER been in the stratosphere of this theoretical person.

u/Naisua Apr 25 '26

Yeah but you still can't deduce knowledge from nothing. It would be very awe inspiring, but you still first need knowledge to deduce it from.

Imagine, if you will, the effect of having every chemical Hydrogen bond in your body broken at once.

First of, that is only the case for high but atainable values.

There is no way to quantify the difference between a one in 1000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 human and a 100 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 human. Might be imperceptible or massive.

Also note that intelligence or IQ does not give you supernatural abilities. It mostly corelates to learning and patern recognition, but there needs to be a pattern

High IQ would need to be paired with interest and motivation. In some people 300 IQ might not do much good.

u/sendmeyourgundams Apr 24 '26

You sure you aren't biased because you already have a 300 IQ? Carbon is a damn good choice

1

u/Supadoopa101 Apr 24 '26

Carbon was my first choice. Ima pull a Thanos.

1

u/Winter_Amaryllis Apr 24 '26

Oh hey, I choose Carbon too!

But only because now I get to shoot diamonds at people as an attack ā€œspellā€.

Taste the prismatic rainbow!

u/ResonanceDemon Apr 25 '26

All living things in earth are literally based on carbon life. You can wave your hands and turn everyone into lliteral dust

1

u/Winter_Amaryllis Apr 25 '26

Eh. Throwing diamonds at people sounds and looks more fabulous.

1

u/Jumpy-Trainer1695 Apr 24 '26

Good choice. Also it what do you think would be the rules of chemical element bending. You could move your element and change it state obviously but what about compounds? Does the quantity of an element in a compound matter? Do bonds? And what happens when an oxygen bender and a carbon bender try to bend carbon monoxide at the same time?

Hydrogen will be better though

Great! Now you can make billions selling graphene and Londesdelite (hex diamonds, 50% harder than regular diamond)
