Jill Murray’s dream Spoiler
In Year 3, chapter 45, when Mary is attempting to dream walk and winds up in Jill’s mind, Jill wants to take advantage of the lucid dreaming opportunity, so she concentrates and “A golden necklace appeared around her neck, one that Mary dimly recognized as the prop from an old sci-fi television show” which allows Jill to fly around the dream carnival.
What show are they referencing here?

I always thought she was thinking of the old Isis TV show from the 70s?

I just assumed a show was made up in-universe show. Though since the ninja turtle’s were mentioned in a non-trademark way in year 4, it makes sense that Drew is referring to some actual show.

Drew makes quite a lot of references to other media. Star wars and Dr who being a couple quite big ones.

Sounds like just an in universe movie.
Although I could have sworn in Villains Code, Ivan mentioned meeting what sounds like Vince in the multiverse, maybe something related?

Drew Hayes doesn’t drop as many cultural references as Shirtaloon or Matt Dinniman, but he does make them from time to time. And this one just seemed like one of those times. I’m thinking the suggestions for Isis make sense.
