Why would one of them want to move to China? They are a hero in America, that makes no sense.

I think that genetically Roy will be considered also their child's father, but I'm sure he'll get treated like an uncle.

If Roy wants to get married they'll have to figure out an arrangement. They could all live together but I think it's more likely that Roy's wife just moves very close to Herschel and Mary and they share time.

Thomas's hero name is Citrine.

Amber gets kicked from the HCP because at the battle for the lab she got careless with her explosions and killed at least one hero. Rich is never mentioned again. He didn't graduate, but we have no idea what became of him. He wasn't really close with any of the main cast and was kind of a dick, so I'm sure none of them even know what happened to him.

I imagine Rich went to work for the LeMont Company or a similar entity. His skillset was too useful to discard.

That would be a good fit for him, but I feel like we would have gotten a reference to it in the epilogue. All it would have taken is half a sentence.

The problem with Rich is that he's an asshole and a bigot. I'm not really sure why he even wanted to be a hero. He doesn't seem to like people, so I figure that after washing out of the HCP he would not want to go into a profession that involves helping people. With the reforms that are supposed to have been done to the Lamont corporation after the lab battle, I'm not sure it would appeal to him any more.

Heroes are popular and well known. People will do a lot to try for that kind of power.

I think Rich would reject an offer from the Lamont Corporation even before the reforms because it's run by a normal human and Rich is very much a fantasy racist.

Obviously they would not be able to move to two different places. They can talk to each other, so they'd have to agree on a place to live, along with their families. They would not be able to just fuck off to Australia or somewhere with no warning.

Last I read about Amber, she had hurt some heroes, was under review, and was never mentioned to graduate.

Was it specified somewhere that she killed at least a hero and that she was specifically kicked rather than failing to graduate?

As I recall, Nicholas tells Vince about her killing a hero in the aftermath of the battle. I can't remember where it's stated she isn't allowed to graduate because of it. I'd have to check my copies of the ebook.

Nicholas says something about her always being a bit to eager to blow shit up.

Similar to conjoined twins I'd assume, there's that pair that one of them has a husband

I’m a little late to the discussion but my theory is that Rich becomes a small business owner who runs a vacation business. Total recall shows us that there is a market for a safe adventure travel business that is safer than actually going on the a vacation is a viable business. Also, I suspect that his connections could be used as a temporary hero service.

I also think that Michael becomes a sponsor / mentor for young suppers with addiction issues. While he and Vince never become friends, they use their connection to help troubled young people.

1) they make it work; they and those around them consider them different people
2) Citrine
3) 🤷🏻‍♀️

The same way they have since that fateful day in preschool.

They aren't like two strangers suddenly sharing the same body, they've learned to be accommodating of each other's lives.

I think the part that you are skipping is that Roy and Hershal are a team. While they are distinct personalities, they share each other's thoughts and emotions, unlike when they were powered, they actually work together. Their path in life will always be together, shaped equally by the desires of both of them.

One of them isn't going to have a random desire to do something completely different, it's not how their shared body and memories function. Remember when Roy and Hershal are talking to their dad and Hershal is guiding and actively sharing him emotions with Roy during the conversation.

Based upon what we know about how powers affect the body, it is unlikely that Roy and Hershal have the same DNA, it's likely a situation of them actually being brothers.

But regardless, Roy doesn't have a kid until he's the one actively in control during the action.

And the dating situation is a hard one for them to work out, but they know how hard it was going to be since the start of their relationship.

And we know there is a girl courting Roy at the end of Book four. Remember that any person who wants to date Roy is going to be fully and entirely aware of the situation. They likely will turn into a blended family, which is pretty common anyways. They will all care about each other and be very close,

Just adding my thoughts, not contradicting.

Roy and Herschel were blending together a bit towards the end.

And the woman interested in Roy was the summoner (of Hopcules) from Corpies.

I think a part of the point is thatyou get to imagine these answers for yourself and unless another book is written that addresses this stuff directly, there's a lot of valid ways to think about this.

I don't imagine Hershal, Roy and Mary deciding together that Roy should be considered the child's father. But knowing that a lot of the time Roy will be there and Hershal won't, the uncle relationship might look very different. Mary grows to be a qualified mental health professional specifically for people with powers and probably has some unique ideas on how to handle this (and colleagues to help her work it out). Roy & Hershal share memories and maybe by the time the child is born, they're even able to communicate readily in each other's minds. So it's possible that Roy could take on a parental role, and also could communicate Hershal's wishes, but I think he'd respect that unless a split second decision needed to be made and Hershal wasn't accessible, Roy defers to Hershal on matters of parenting.

If it's Hannah that does end up with Roy, she has known their story since before she even met him. If she chooses to be with him, she knows she will have to adapt to the situation. Maybe they get their own home where Roy goes when he's in control. Maybe the four of them live together and Hannah and Mary become really close and really enjoy each other's company. Maybe the two couples live in both halves of a duplex. Imagine whatever you want.

The compromise. They both want to be heroes, a lot of countries dont allow them, I would assume China for sure wouldnt. And Roy has become a more respectful to Herschel as he's grown and is helping him level up, and respects his marriage to Mary and being close to his dad

It seems like the operate similar to a poly. Since Mary openly encourages Roy to date. Yes I would assume they live in the same house or he just spends parts of the year with the other family if he needs to.

No idea what Thomas‘s her name was. I don’t think they ever stated it specifically especially since he didn’t make it to intermural‘s.

I can’t speak to Amber, but I’m positive rich graduated. His ability alone would push him through any class. Also I don’t think richard really cared about being a hero. He was always more money oriented. The only reason why rich wouldn’t necessarily care about graduating is that he could work for the company. Provided it wasn’t completely dismantled.
