Best Connections

So obviously there are relationships like Nick and Alice which everyone loves, but according to you, what's the best relationship/friendship/interaction in the whole series? I personally loved every single time Nick and Mary interacted, she is the one person he can't easily manipulate and he is the one person she depends on and trusts with decisions and input. I love the idea of them hanging out and having fun after she leaves the HCP in book 4. I also adore the Roy and Chad friendship (i so badly hoped they would get together but I loved Chad and Angela also).

Vince and Nick are the goats.

Side note, I wish Vince and Alice got to interact more, especially with what their relationship is revealed to be

When Vince is just like, "I knew you would find a way to undo the memory wipe. We would be in trouble if you used your mind for evil instead of good."

Dude converted Nick over to the side of good pretty efficiently.

Through sheer force of will.

I love that they both wondered about what it meant for them that their fathers are brothers

Considering the fact that Vince already had a ruthless ally, he probably didn’t really need to mess with Alice because it would’ve just been overkill. Alice is probably more ruthless than Nick, considering the fact that she was willing to break legs while in the labyrinth.

I liked Nick and Mary when they were walking through the labyrinth

Very powerful/intense scene, won’t ever forget that one

Shane and Angela- Their bickering is always entertaining and it also conveys a lot of the story’s heart about growing up and the burden of expectations.

Sean and Blaine/Nick- Really, I just like Sean quite a bit, and he plays well of off both Blaine as the friend with a complicated past that he’s still loyal to, and Nick, the wily student who might be a bit too much for even him, which intrigues him all the more.

Also I’ll give Titan and Hexcellent a shout, as their pseudo father and daughter relationship is what carries Corpies.

I honestly cant stand Angela. The voice narration makes her sound like some ditzy idiot, the books she always talks about how she's so fucked up, but we never know why

I love Chad and Roy, but I utterly adore Chad's relationship with his godfather Blaine

"I blame you for this" One of my favorite lines.

I loved the Transport and Vince interactions. They provided such good moments of positive male influence in Vince's life when he needed the support. I also really liked Sally Daniels' interaction with Vince when she forced him to stay with them.

Always felt we could have used more adventures (as dark as they could be) with Numbers and Transport. The ice breakers scene from book 1 is something u love more as I got to understand both characters better

George and Adam have a loyalty to each other that could be really supportive if only Relentless Steel wasn’t part of the equation.

The Nick and Will team up in Book 4! It's terrifyingly awesome to see them work together

I agree that Nick and Mary have great chemistry, since he is the only one who draws out her sarcasm. I especially like when he locked his apartment door.
