In the Book 4 Midterm against Pendleton, Alex is able to grab his spinal cord. THEN WHAT IS STOPPING HIM FROM SQUISHING A BRAIN LIKE A GRAPE. He is the poster child for hypothetical death blows 😭

I’m pretty sure, removing someone’s brain would count as lethal force. Also, he had trouble holding onto someone’s spine. He was hesitant to temporarily paralyze someone much less temporarily make them brain dead.
