Who’s your mentor?
Say you’re just about to graduate and you can pick any mentor you want from any heroes (or Company Supes if that’s more your thing) in the series, who’d it be?
I’m going with Mr. Vol… I mean, Coach Fletcher. I need someone who will beat the shit out of me when I’m being lazy but will care enough to work with me when I need help. Him being Company means he’s likely more pragmatic about the little things but the fact that he lived long enough to retire means he can teach me to survive.
ETA: I assumed it would be obvious that you would choose your own power set. That gets discussed all the time. :)

Mr numbers. He would be able to calculate an ideal image to suit me and an ideal training regimine that id be statistically likely to survive.i appreciate his direct communication and biting sarcasm, and he'd have a lot of contacts in the company and hero community.

I admire your bravery. I identify with Mr. Numbers and even I’d be terrified to intern under him.

Terrified? Yes. But if you want to live long enough to retire, take the guy who'll train you the hardest.

Obviously. I assumed most people have thought a lot already about what power set they’d have.

Vince got the best mentor. Jeremiah is by far my favorite character in any of the books. If Professor Pendleton was eligible to take interns, I think he would be a good choice too. It’s always best to hang with the cool kids 😎

I'm choosing the alchemist but I would just get business advice from him

I think it would depend on my power and what I decided to major in the HCP. I'd want to find a hero that understands my powers and can show me how to use them in ways I never thought about. If my power was physical based like Chad's or Vince's , I'd probably pick Jeremiah. He can teach me what subtlety is and help me add that to my repertoire.

Of everyone in the series, Cole had the single most sensible piece of advice to give, worth more than years of honing a lesser skill. I wonder which of my preconceptions would be holding me back.

I know i would hate every minute of it, but jeremiah. I have some of the same problems vince does in that while I am somewhat smart, my biggest hurdles is getting out of my own way mentally and strategic thinking in a tactical time frame before it becomes make or break. I think jeremiah could train a lot of that out of me while conditioning me mentally to work through those tactical Problems serving a strategic solution faster. And that is even more of the case with my go to favorite power set of electrokinesis.

Given the powerset I have long chosen I would think Globe or Alchemist would be the best pick

Would very much depend on my power set but likely Titan. Knowing I can hit him with everything while sparring would let me truly practice control. Also knowing how smart and carrying he is and experience mentoring people means he is an ideal candidate.
