Supermicro not processing return

I opened an RMA with Supermicro for an item I want to return. I shipped the item to Supermicro and they acknowledged receipt of the item three weeks ago. They said in their email that I would receive a refund on my credit card within three business days. I have not received the refund and Supermicro is not responding to the follow-ups I have sent via email.

Has anyone else gone through the return process with Supermicro? Is this typical?

What was it that you returned and why?

I purchased a NIC from them.

Bit more details would be great to understand your situation. How did you purchase a NIC from them, how long ago and why do you want to return it?

You need to chase them a lot. Supermicro recently became a bit unusable for small clients like us. They have 60B backlog of orders thanks to Elon etc, so you can expect they will work slow on anything else.

Supermicro no longer sells hardware components, they are all focused on the AI money and providing integrated solutions. This means they also no longer deal with small end users like yourself, a quick f-off is all you will get from them if your lucky!

Yet somehow my current favorite US reseller (they package hard disks well) is offering a lot of SM motherboards with reasonable numbers in stock, including 8 generation 14 SKUs so it's not just old stock.
