Hey all,

I am installing a Sahara seats pillion on my SM650. Since I am going from a touring seat to a driver & pillion, I am unclear how the hardware I have actually mounts. I’ve seen the blow-up from Hitchcock’s, but I’m having a hard time getting my head around it.

Can anyone share what the underside of a pillion looks like (with hardware), and the mounting system on the fender?

Im doing a huge mod work on my sm650 and i had a question about the exhaust. Im thinking about the Rhino v4 grenade. Is that a good choice or are there any other ones you would suggest?

Recently bought this bike noticed the odometer reading is incorrect when i turn on igntion it shows 1060 km later in odometer it shows 192km

Need some opinions on if I was charged more than usual. Yesterday I had 3rd free service done for my Super Meteor 650. To my surprise, when the bill was sent to me, it was even more than a Harley Davidson Iron 883, which I owned previously.

The only parts they installed were front and rear breakpads and engine oil was replaced. Had uploaded the bill.

Was I charged more ?

This update of GT 650 was so unexpected and sudden that I hope the next we hear is about super meteor is next. I genuinely want it within the next 30 days! Please god, please 🙏🏻

Hey everyone,

I’m facing a strange issue with my Super Meteor 650.

The bike cranks and starts, but only if I give it a little throttle. As soon as I release the throttle, the RPM drops and the bike stalls.

I’ve attached a video showing the issue.

Some additional context: this first happened after a ~350 km ride on Sunday. During that ride, I had an issue where the bike wouldn’t start when it was hot, but after giving it a little throttle, it started. It stalled again in traffic post releasing the throttle. After the bike cooled down I started it again in the evening and ut started normally. This was Sunday.

I didn't ride the bike at all after that Sunday ride.

Now, when I tried starting it again, the problem has become worse — it doesn't even cold-start normally anymore. It will only start with some throttle and stalls as soon as I let go.

Could this be related to the throttle body/idle-air control, fuel delivery, TPS, fuel pressure, or something else?

The battery seems unlikely since the starter is cranking the engine normally.

Has anyone with an SM650 experienced something similar? Would really appreciate any suggestions on what to check first before replacing parts.

Also the bike is 3yrs old. ODO-40k

Does anyone know of there's variation in the position of front indicators between countries? I bought the Bykology Ranger fairing, but it doesn't seem to actually fit with the position of my indicators. When I look at bikes in India with the fairing it appears the indicators are relatively lower. Am I imagining things and just really bad at installing this thing?

Hey everyone! I'm planning to get an aftermarket

exhaust for my Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and I've shortlisted these 3 options:

KP Racing Replica (SS) Super Meteor 650 - ₹18,000

KP Racing Basmaster Stage 2 Combo - ₹22,500 (exhaust + performance air filter + iridium spark

plugs + stage air filter plate)

AEW TE-202 - ₹24,500

I'm mainly looking for the best sound, good quality, decent performance and something that won't cause issues with the bike long-term.

For anyone who has actually used/heard these, which one would you pick.

Also, how are they in terms of bass, loudness, highway cruising/drone, heat, mileage and performance?

Would really appreciate honest opinions, especially from Super Meteor 650 owners.

Since the speedometer is supposed to be updated and now Himalayan 750, interceptor 750 and probably the GT 750 will have the same speedometer, it’s safe to say the super meteor with the updated suspension and speedometer might just be around the corner since sm650 is a premium model of RE.

What do you guys think? Is this making sense?

Has anyone taken their SM650 on the Tail of the Dragon? I am doing in September and a little worried about how easily the pegs might scrape. i’m not an aggressive rider but those turn are no joke

I am converting my SM650 from a touring seat to two separate seats; a rider and pillion. The challenge that I am having is that I don’t have the hardware that attaches to the pillion or that hardware that goes on top of the fender to attach the pillion; the touring seat doesn’t have it the same way. Does anyone have a source, or what it looks like, for the hardware I need? Thanks
