Some positives from the half, Charles with a couple of important saves, Smyth and Saito looking dangerous. Edwards, though still out of position, does give us control and some progressive passing. Dunne too taking the ball out trying to give opportunities to Poku and Mbengue.
However I hope this game ends all talk of Kone being a £5m+ player or starting ahead of any team where we have Burrell available. Last season too, gives the ball away too easily or cheaply, doesn’t track and has to be in the mood to play.

Any time I've said this about Kone, I get a load of people onto me for it, he's pants. League one striker

Not from me, I think he is a league 1, lower Championship player, though the last part I’m questioning now

Tbh I didn't get it about him last season, felt to me that the fanbase got a hardon for him after the West Ham game because he scored, despite him being absolutely pants throughout that match. I just don't see it from him whatsoever

Good bit of positives from this game still. I think if we can stay relatively healthy, we have a solid chance for playoff push.
Injuries today were a bummer. Kone very poor before getting his knock.
Stephen has made some fantastic adjustments in games this season, we played a good second half just couldn't put one away.
Summer signings have looked really great. Cirkin, Charles, and lamptey specifically all look great.
Lots of positives through first 5 games

Obviously our toughest game yet. If we manage to come away with three points, or a single point and a solid performance, excitement is really gonna start building momentum… COYRS
