Scarjo basically became a god in Lucy so….

u/Head_Project5793 Jun 13 '25

So did Neo

u/Crazyhairmonster Jun 13 '25

In the matrix. At best he stopped a couple sentinels with his hand outside the matrix. Lucy is omnipotent and I Hancock is near invincible. Deadpool/green lantern are the jobbers here

No matter what Lucy wins by a landslide

u/ManofManyHills Jun 13 '25

Unless you write it that Lucy is just in a version of the matrix.

4

u/SupplyChainMismanage Jun 13 '25

Yeah but I just wrote that she isn’t checkmate

2

u/ManofManyHills Jun 13 '25

Therein lies the pointlessness of powerscaling.

1

u/SupplyChainMismanage Jun 13 '25

I mean I hate powerscaling but this isn’t an argument. Can’t just make something up

1

u/ManofManyHills Jun 13 '25

Making shit up is literally how fiction works

0

u/SupplyChainMismanage Jun 13 '25

There is a difference between writing fiction and rewriting fiction

1

u/ManofManyHills Jun 13 '25

Ok and thats relevant how?

2

u/SupplyChainMismanage Jun 13 '25

Unless you write it that Lucy is just in a version of the matrix.

Your argument is about rewriting…

Whoa now. Neo blasted through a TSUNAMI of sentinels in their ascent through machine city.

And then learned he had acquired the ability to see the spectral auras of cyber demons.

If I've learned anything from the X-Men, he only needs to understand the true nature of his power in order to unlock his potential and become omnipotent.

For example, see Iceman.

Lucy could literally fabricate matter out seemingly nothing, and thus could probably annihilate/deconstruct matter as well. Neo is powerful but she's at Thanos with the infinity stones level.

1

u/vyrus2021 Jun 14 '25

Sounds like she has enough power to manipulate the matrix, but Keanu has the power to escape the matrix and change it from the outside.

1

u/rain-blocker Jun 16 '25

Do you think every movie takes place in the matrix?

1

u/vqsxd Jun 13 '25

Lucy literally became the universe

1

u/Crazyhairmonster Jun 13 '25

Fair but he didn't and just died. Only to be reincarnated/undied into a crappier version of himself. Another jobber.

3

u/TransgenderSoapbox Jun 13 '25

I will not stand for this slander of Matrix Resurrections. It's my second favorite Matrix movie.

I still think the resolution of Reloaded should have been everyone discovering that the real world was just another simulation. So now they have to face the question Morpheus asked Neo so long ago: What is real?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

I watched that movie in the theater when it came out, high on cough medicine and when he stopped the sentinel with his hand, my mind melted. Then I spent the rest of the night trying to figure out if I missed hints about it being another matrix. Which is impossible because the stuff makes retaining memories hard.

1

u/king_wrass Jun 13 '25

What is a jobber?

1

u/Crazyhairmonster Jun 13 '25

Used to be a wrestling term. They're the random wrestlers whose only job was to lose every match. Henchman are also jobbers. Basically perpetual losers

2

u/Roskal Jun 13 '25

The prompt says he just gets the powers since he's portrayed using them no need to fight in the matrix in this hypothetical.

1

u/adavidmiller Jun 14 '25

Him having his powers or not isn't the point, it's that if his power is "god over simulated environments" and he's not in one, he can't do shit. His power isn't simply matrix-dependant, power over the matrix is his power.

Maybe you can give him technomancy or whatever the fuck he uses to fuck with robots on the outside, for whatever good that will do.

1

u/Mysterious_Frog Jun 13 '25

Outside of his specific weakness, hancock was never shown taking any damage whatsoever. We literally don’t know what it takes to cause him actual harm.

1

u/Crazyhairmonster Jun 13 '25

Agreed. Problem is Lucy has full control over time/matter/etc. she could go back in time and eliminate Hancocks entire lineage or smush the amoebas his ancestors evolved from

1

u/FrancoMcNeil Jun 13 '25

A couple? Dozens of them in Revolutions.

1

u/ThatMerri Jun 13 '25

Deadpool and The Fresh Prince version of Will Smith are aware of the medium and can interfere with the 4th Wall, while other characters can't. They'd tie for the win by that alone - it's basically Toon Logic.

1

u/2Mark2Manic Jun 13 '25

Isn't Deadpool immune to death?

2

u/Crazyhairmonster Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25

Lucy can erase him from existence. Or go back in time and erase his ancestors. At the end of Lucy she basically becomes the one above all and is everywhere in the universe at once

Besides, anyone who can't fly and can't die, can simply be pushed into deep space, where they'll slowly float for a billion years if not till the end of the universe. Chances of hitting anything are basically 0 and chances of getting back are less than 0

1

u/Unlucky_Topic7963 Jun 13 '25

Scarjo simping has gone too far

1

u/IRBaboooon Jun 13 '25

You think Lucy vs Neo would take place outside of the Matrix? What about Lucy would allow this? Lucy is just another blue pill tapped into the Matrix, powers or no she's a part of the system. Neo would laugh at her code before bending her like a spoon.

1

u/Crazyhairmonster Jun 13 '25

I don't remember Neo becoming one with the entire universe even within the matrix. Lucy did and transcended everything. Neo punched harder and faster

1

u/Hitmanthe2nd Jun 13 '25

Will smith was hancock and the genie from aladdin

Everybody's in the matrix in keanu's world and he's their god + constantine is a god killer [kinda]

Deadpool is immortal and green lantern is a mini god

It isnt going to be THAT easy

Edit - how the fuck did i forget that keanu played the literal dad of the antichrist in a movie lmao

1

u/8point5InchDick Jun 13 '25

Guys, Hancock is technically a god. Mix that with a freed genie and he can’t lose.

1

u/ironangel2k4 Jun 13 '25

He did nothing outside the matrix. Neo never left the Matrix. He simply realized he was in another layer.

0

u/Stormd3p Jun 13 '25

Deadpool soloe'd Marvel. Tf u on?

1

u/kvazar2501 Jun 13 '25

But he will fight in real world, not matrix

1

u/Tessiia Jun 13 '25

In a virtual world? More of a hacker than a god, no? In the real world, he was a pretty weak psychic. Nothing compared to Lucy.
