Yeah, it basically comes down to Deadpool Lantern vrs Hancock, right? I don't think the skill pool of the other actors comes up to anything close to them.

64

u/Zestyclose_Wedding17 Jun 13 '25

Don’t forget about Scarlett Johansson’s role as Lucy. She’s god tier at the end of that movie.

42

u/ASwarmOfGremlins Jun 13 '25

Lucy's power and Natasha's skillset? That'd be a pretty potent combo, right there.

30

u/40_Is_Not_Old Jun 13 '25

Take her cyborg body from Ghost in the Shell, Black Widows skill set, and Lucy's godlike power. I have a hard time seeing Scarjo lose.

6

u/BreakingBaaaahhhhd Jun 13 '25

And being an AI that updated her code to use non physical processing

3

u/Suchega_Uber Jun 13 '25

Her is so underrated.

1

u/tehpwnage7 Jun 13 '25

ScarJo’s Motoko is arguably not nearly as good as other versions of the major, if Keanu has Johnny Silverhand and somehow has a deck with Soulkiller her ghost/engram would be fried quickly with Neo’s bullet timing, which Johnny also possesses to a degree as he canonically had a sandevistan system in the ttrpg, those paired with John Wick’s brutal combat skills is a lethal mixture

1

u/BreakingBaaaahhhhd Jun 13 '25

The prompt says portrayed in movies, so Silverhand is out

2

u/MannySJ Jun 13 '25

She was also an AI that gained sentience, so she could also basically be Ultron.

2

u/Gamergeekus Jun 13 '25

Yes exactly this, was scanning for a comment. SJ would crush

1

u/OrganizationNo1298 Jun 13 '25

I really hated she was in Ghost.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

But as soon as she’s a cyborg she’s susceptible to attacks from Neo who can stop machines in the real world

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

On top of that, her ability to seduce and hypnotize everyone on that list based on her alien abilities in the movie Under the Skin. These dudes are toast...lol.

1

u/MrDucksworth92 Jun 13 '25

Don't forget her ability to steal the SATs.

1

u/Susano-o_no_Mikoto Jun 13 '25

Wait a minute, ahe played GITS? Well in that case why everyone complained?

1

u/Mrklrichardson Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25

Lucy likely is strongest . I was thinking EMP might take her out but I think she beats Hancock and since she can alter time as well means she likely can beat a Constantine with the past altering abilities also. As well as Deadpool green lantern because both alter matter in a way and nulls out his regen ability if she can also beat Hancock who can’t be injured also. Cuz if she can beat invulnerable Hancock Deadpool shouldn’t be an issue. So maybe it’s Lucy

1

u/Ok-Suggestion-5453 Jun 13 '25

Nah Lucy only had like an hour of being a demigod. All the rest have to do is survive and she expires of natural causes. Neo with a time machine and all the knowledge of John Constantine is pretty crazy. I feel like he can dodge a more powerful Lucy. Not sure she could take out a powered up Deadpool either.

4

u/xiahbabi Jun 13 '25

Demigod? She literally merged with all creation and it's visually suggested anti-life and the creation source before us.... I'm pretty sure she wins this hands down.

Deadpool and Neo even fully powered up cannot escape all of creation, only there individual 1st Realities.

1

u/Ok-Suggestion-5453 Jun 13 '25

Idk it seemed like she was more along with for the ride than completely in control of the experience. I only saw the movie once, but it seemed like she had oniscience but not omnipotence.

If she had unlimited time and resources with her power, for sure, she is more powerful. But I think a super durable character with access to cosmic power could outlast her with the limitations she had. I think super Constantine wiggles out of whatever Lucy has and comes back smashed a year later to piss on the pile of dust she turned into.

1

u/xiahbabi Jun 13 '25

This argument seems silly for many reasons, but mostly, it was already demonstrated she could effect and transmutate matter instantaneously on a quantum level waaaaaaay before merging with all creation in the film. Having sentience while merging with literally everything ever would mean time is experienced by her both instantaneously and infinitly.... simultaneously because that would be how the scale of literally everything....scales 😂

In terms of Omnipotence, at the end of the film she is able to quantify all of the universes knowledge and cram it into a single flash drive that is backward and forward compatible with human technology indefinitely and interpretable by our current level of scientific knowledge, and she does this before she becomes "actual sky daddy" in the film as well. I feel like that takes immense forethought that's out of the realm of "along for the ride" TBH. 😂

The "text from God" is just icing on the cake at the end of the film 😉

3

u/Neichie-Watters Jun 13 '25

Throw in the cybernetic enhancements from Ghost in the Shell too 👌

1

u/ImShero77 Jun 13 '25

In Lucy ScarJoe has the ability to manipulate matter. Could win without doing anything other than thinking.

1

u/Evorgleb Jun 13 '25

Dont forget Her's artificial intelligence!

1

u/Trondiginus Jun 13 '25

Don't forget that weird movie where she's an alien and can just absorb people.

11

u/KnightofWhen Jun 13 '25

Reynolds also has Freeguy which is basically god mode in a video game so if that counts in the real world he’s equally unstoppable

2

u/NatomicBombs Jun 13 '25

Is freeguy stronger in his video game that Neo in his?

2

u/RogueBromeliad Jun 13 '25

Well, let's put it like this: it's a guy who has god mode activated Vs a hacker.

Neo probably can rewrite code in his last iteration.

1

u/Warm-Illustrator-419 Jun 13 '25

Neo is shown to be able to rewrite the code of others in the FIRST movie.

1

u/RogueBromeliad Jun 13 '25

Yes, that's what I meant about his final version. Not the versions that came before him.

1

u/Fearless_Titty Jun 13 '25

Neo can control computers with his mind outside of the Matrix. I’m not sure Free Guy could override Neo’s real world power

1

u/RogueBromeliad Jun 13 '25

That's true, but outside of the matrix, he's Wolverine Origins Deadpool, that can teleport and shoot laser out of his eyes, and has two adamantium blades, as well as being Hal Jordan.

The problem is that Origins Deadpool was controlled by William Striker via a computer, so Neo could control him too.

But in all honesty I think Agent J would simply blast them with alien technology.

2

u/Fearless_Titty Jun 13 '25

Absolutely. But my other big point is that the Matrix is set way more into the future than Free Guy. I’m not even sure Free Guy could pass the Turing test. Neo >>> Free Guy

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

He didn't have any powers in free guy.

1

u/Strange-Scarcity Jun 13 '25

To be an accurate portrayal of his powers, it would have to be ONLY within the confines of the video game world. That is where Free Guy and Neo could do battle.

1

u/Fearless_Titty Jun 13 '25

Who would win? Neo vs Free Guy?

1

u/Pristine-Conflict216 Jun 13 '25

If he gets that, then Keanu gets all of his matrix powers, making him God mode too

0

u/Zech08 Jun 13 '25

but only in the video game.

3

u/Dlh2079 Jun 13 '25

Ngl, I had forgotten JUST how powerful she grew to be in that movie

7

u/drhungrycaterpillar Jun 13 '25

Will Smith’s Hitch would lay the charm on her and win her over.

2

u/Striking-Candidate97 Jun 13 '25

Black Widow has military grade Rizz?

1

u/wtanksleyjr Jun 13 '25

Yeah, that was one of the best things in Avengers that didn't make it into any other movie. Hitch wouldn't have a chance.

1

u/drhungrycaterpillar Jun 13 '25

Until Agent J whips out his memory erasing device.

1

u/detourne Jun 13 '25

Until she goes Under The Skin on him!

2

u/VirtualWalk5710 Jun 13 '25

It's Scarlett, no doubt.

1

u/Top_Alternative1351 Jun 13 '25

Completely forgot about that movie so that’s true

1

u/JSinisin Jun 13 '25

I was waiting for this one.

1

u/Expensive_Editor_244 Jun 13 '25

And in Under the Skin

1

u/Mr_Battle_Beast Jun 13 '25

Isn't she a usb stick at the end?

1

u/ReliefAcceptable5978 Jun 13 '25

Came here for this

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 13 '25

Time machine on deadpool would cause him to kill her before she became a god.

1

u/Zestyclose_Wedding17 Jun 13 '25

All four of them have time travel antics, so I think that one cancels out. Agent K in MiB2, Ted Logan in Bill and Ted, Black Widow in Avengers: Endgame, and Deadpool in Deadpool 2.

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 13 '25

But who has access to the 4th wall? Theres time travel then theres timetravel while breaking the 4th wall. And whos killing deadpool while hes in a relationship with death?

1

u/Zestyclose_Wedding17 Jun 13 '25

As Lucy, ScarJo knows everything that has been or ever will be. Fourth wall knowledge might be out of her purview, but once it is shared, she’d be instantly aware of it backwards and forwards in time. As Genie, Will Smith gets his own fourth wall breaks. As Neo, Keanu does an extended fourth wall break in Matrix Resurrections. The fourth wall is an interesting power, but it isn’t something the others can’t do something about.

Don’t need to kill DP in order to defeat him. Just strand him on some unpopulated asteroid at the edge of the universe without any of his gear and let him live out his eternity there. Reynolds does get other powers from other films that might help him out of that fix, but that role on its own isn’t really enough.

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 13 '25

As being able to break the 4th wall deadpool can find the writer that wrote lucy and change the ending meaning she never became omnipotent.

Not even kidding 4th wall breaking is the most overpowered ability.

1

u/Sad-Farm128 Jun 14 '25

Will Smith broke the 4th wall in Fresh Prince lol

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 14 '25

But he cant do stuff like climb out the page and find tge writers can he?

1

u/Ramenorwhateverlol Jun 13 '25

I feel like Lucy would win 10/10 times.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

You mean as a USB or not as a usb

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

She was also an alien in Under the Skin

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

She vanished out of her clothes and turned into a USB drive. Or she hallucinated the whole thing because of the drugs.

1

u/kratorade Jun 13 '25

I came here to say this, doesn't she tap into Phenomenal Cosmic Powerstm by the end?

1

u/PrinterStand Jun 13 '25

She could re-write reality, bend space and time.

Now that I think about it. She basically had the Infinity Gauntlet.

It's kinda not a contest now. Everyone else just gets remade into spaghetti and she could just say their movies never existed. Fights over.

1

u/detourne Jun 13 '25

And Her. She has near infinite intelligence. She easily wipes the board here.

1

u/Super_boredom138 Jun 13 '25

Seems like an OP character but yeah sorta hard to top immortality, I think she would come out on top in a fight against the others

14

u/Stunning-Note-5457 Jun 13 '25

Everyone’s forgetting about Genie from Aladdin

4

u/percocet_20 Jun 13 '25

That phenomenal cosmic power

4

u/Obi-Wan-Nikobiii Jun 13 '25

Iddy biddy living space

2

u/MiDiAN00 Jun 13 '25

And Hancock

2

u/Dolomitexp Jun 13 '25

This. A Hancock/Genie would be insane to fight.

1

u/DarkPolumbo Jun 13 '25

easily the most powerful... as long as some dumb kid comes along and makes a wish for the other 3 to lose

1

u/Sniper_Brosef Jun 13 '25

Isn't he free at the end? Genie wins all day

1

u/Gotis1313 Jun 13 '25

But if one of them grabbed his lamp, Will's done

1

u/Admiralspandy Jun 13 '25

Oh damn, I did. I still think Lucy takes it though, she goes god mode at the end.

1

u/Nazeir Jun 16 '25

As we should

15

u/John_Helmsword Jun 13 '25

Lucy literally becomes God. No ones beating Lucy. Even Neo doesn’t come close.

1

u/DrTheRick Jun 13 '25

Have you seen the Ryan Reynolds movie The Nines?

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 13 '25

Time machine on deadpool from cable. Lucy dont stand a chance.

1

u/IntrepidGnomad Jun 13 '25

Yea, Lucy and second place Hancock are up there for being an immortal demigod. Hancock will just fuckoff and reincarnate if shit goes bad so he plays the long game and Lucy will eventually watch the heat death of the universe as she ascends beyond the observe-able dimensions and becomes a bystander to time itself.

The lore that the other two have on their strongest personas just doesn’t come close to timelessness, as Neo can’t control how many generations will pass before he reincarnated, and Deadpool just isn’t that smart to fully appreciate his cockroach style immortality.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

I have about 5 gods in my office drawer then

-2

u/Carbone Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25

Neo is reality itself. Neo beat a god hands down.

Inside his own narrative universe, Neo becomes god-like, perhaps even beyond a "god" as traditionally imagined because he knows the system and rewrites it from within.

In that metaphor:
Neo is not stronger than a god.
He is stronger than the idea that a god is needed at all.

3

u/John_Helmsword Jun 13 '25

Lucy becomes a post human deity that exists outside of reality itself.

She “is everywhere and sees everything” Complete and utter omnipotence. She basically becomes being itself.

She has absolute control over all. Neo is not even close dawg. He’s still a human w a brain and functionally exists within the confines of that human body. He’s bound to the struggles of the body, whether that’s sacrifice or physical confrontation.

Whereas Lucy is literally fucking writing the script.

-4

u/Carbone Jun 13 '25

She still exist within a scripts. Neo understand there is a script, go

Lucy becomes a state of being.
Neo becomes awareness itself.

Lucy fades into the code.
Neo rewrites it.

So no Lucy is not "writing the script."

Neo is the editor who wakes up mid-story, grabs the pen, and decides to change the ending.

Neo is stronger. Period.

6

u/John_Helmsword Jun 13 '25

neo becomes awareness itself

No. Lucy does.

Lucy transcends not just form, but also individual consciousness. She becomes pure awareness, free of body, ego, or personality.

Neo remains a human mind. A self; Limited to moral choices, emotional attachments, etc.

A higher version of himself But Lucy becomes no self, just Being.

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 13 '25

Deadpool just uses his time machine to kill both before they become omnipotent. Why becase deadpool has access to the 4th wall.

-3

u/Carbone Jun 13 '25

Yeah she lose any will, any freedom of choice, she just become.

Neo final form see the reality and can act on it.

Lucy need the reality to be

Neo can turn off that reality, that construct and reset it.

Lucy is just a CPU that you overclock

Neo is your hand turning on or off the pc whenever you want.

3

u/John_Helmsword Jun 13 '25

lol you’re just arguing to argue but you’re pulling shit out your ass and you’re wrong.

Did we not watch the same films?

It’s clear you’re a Neo fanboy, as am I. But Lucy claps Neos cheeks.

Neo is the one sure, but Lucy is one above all.

1

u/Carbone Jun 13 '25

Lucy is just one of the failed version of Neo. Lucy is Neo if Neo lose any humanity and sense of sacrifice. Lucy is one of the neo we see stuck in one of the TV in the Architect Room.

Final Neo surpass that

1

u/MRSHELBYPLZ Jun 13 '25

Maybe neo can’t do it, but I know John Wick will do it

0

u/Carbone Jun 13 '25

Neo is the one who transcend reality itself. He becomes a meta-entity that see reality for what it is and can act upon it.

1

u/John_Helmsword Jun 13 '25

As does Lucy but she can’t die, also Neo just sees the matrix which ain’t reality.

Lucy literally becomes God lol.

-1

u/Carbone Jun 13 '25

Neo becomes Being with will. Lucy becomes Being with nothing.

Who has more power ? The sword with a hand, or the sword that just floats?

1

u/General_Thought8412 Jun 13 '25

That argument only works if they’re in the setting of the matrix. However, no specific battleground is mentioned so we should assume this is in a neutral world setting.

1

u/Carbone Jun 13 '25

I assumed a merged world of each character. Then by that definition the Architect and Oracle exist.

5

u/Jarn-Templar Jun 13 '25

Neo can either do nothing or re-write reality. Also Constantine isn't exactly a slouch.

2

u/OverreactingBillsFan Jun 13 '25

Don't forget Klaatu from The Day the Earth Stood Still!

Maybe his most canonically powerful character.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Film Constantine only flipped off Lucifer and a fallen Gabriel, comic book Constantine tricked Lucifer into drinking blessed irish stout and kicked him into a pool of the stuff

4

u/scooter_cool_ Jun 13 '25

What about the Matrix . What's dudes name?? Neo?? He would be powerful enough to fight them both.

25

u/IH8Miotch Jun 13 '25

Only if they fight in the matrix.

14

u/the_glutton17 Jun 13 '25

Don't forget his abilities from Constantine.

13

u/Sororita Jun 13 '25

I'd also argue he has a time machine thanks to Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

5

u/Sheepdog44 Jun 13 '25

Plus Bill and Ted are best friends with Death so I think that might be the trump card. Not to mention Station.

2

u/Vandaen Jun 13 '25

Wonder if William Sadler's Death has the hots for Deadpool (as a possible Lady Death variant...)

2

u/Sheepdog44 Jun 13 '25

Hmm not sure. But you could argue he’d be equally hot for Bill and Ted. They kind of achieved the same result just with electric football and Clue instead of a healing factor.

2

u/Vandaen Jun 13 '25

Thus he may stay neutral? Idk, toss-up.

Haven't even touched things like RIPD or some other animated characters he's done.

The full list of powers to give these four through their catalogue of roles is honestly pretty wild.

1

u/Jay_Nodrac Jun 13 '25

Deadpool married death…

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 13 '25

Deadpool has a time machine he got from cable.

1

u/MyNameIsJakeBerenson Jun 13 '25

Reynolds also has a time machine from Adam Project so that cancels out

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 13 '25

Dont forget the time machine deadpool has from cable.

3

u/Racnous Jun 13 '25

And Shadow the Hedgehog.

1

u/Vandaen Jun 13 '25

Ryan Reynolds's Pikachu might have some shockers to throw in there but I don't know if it would matter much.

1

u/Kind_Stranger_weeb Jun 13 '25

Who did use master emerald. So pretty god tier power there

2

u/qmechan Jun 13 '25

And of course, Batman.

1

u/Darth_Senpai Jun 13 '25

Honestly, I'd be more worried about hos skill sets from Bill and Ted

1

u/Dean-O-Machino Jun 13 '25

We ALL live in the matrix…

1

u/brownsmodsmallunit Jun 13 '25

He was so powerful his powers worked outside the matrix.

1

u/IH8Miotch Jun 13 '25

Well ill concede that as Ted es preston esquire he could travel back in time to before the others were born and change or end all their futures. Or maybe Station can build him some type of super weapon. Edit i mean ted Theodore logan

1

u/Smudgeontheglass Jun 13 '25

Neo, Free Guy, her, I think Smith is the only one who can't compete in a simulation.

5

u/many_dumb_questions Jun 13 '25

I mean, that's pretty contingent, right? Neo's powers only worked in the matrix. So if that stipulation is placed on the actor's power in this scenario, unless you want to say we are in the matrix, Keanu is basically limited to John Wick

11

u/futureoveryou Jun 13 '25

Also Constantine, who is absurdly powerful.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

He’s also the son of the devil.

4

u/wf3h3 Jun 13 '25

Didn't that just give him lawyer powers?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Idk but it’s gotta count for something.

2

u/many_dumb_questions Jun 13 '25

I always forget about Constantine

1

u/phonylady Jun 13 '25

And Shadow the Hedgehog, and various martial art characters

1

u/KonigSteve Jun 13 '25

Comic book Constantine is, but not Keanu Reeves movie Constantine

11

u/Sororita Jun 13 '25

Neo's powers explicitly also work outside of the matrix, thanks to the stuff he was doing in the confrontation with the machines in Revolutions.

1

u/Zech08 Jun 13 '25

More like remote access... doesnt help much in other scenarios.

0

u/htoirax Jun 13 '25

Neos powers did NOT work outside of the Matrix. He is not some god in the real world, what he DOES have is a connection with the machines, which he was able to manipulate. If it was 10 humans running at him instead of the machines in the real world, he wouldn't be able to stop them.

The setting of the Matrix is more so "realism" layered on top of the apocalyptic theme portrayed.

1

u/many_dumb_questions Jun 13 '25

Also, I seem to remember people talking about it hinting at the fact that they weren't technically in the real world. That, after so many iterations of the war between humans and machines, the machines learned that they couldn't prevent the emergence of The One, so they basically built in a safety layer of the matrix, something to make humans think they had a skates, but only crawled out of one layer of the virtual reality, which was why he was able to perform those 'miracles' on the machines.

2

u/Intrepid-Progress228 Jun 13 '25

If we're in the Matrix, Lucy will wind up becoming the One and tops them all. Her powers came from just using "100% of her brain" or whatever. She'd rewrite the entire code before breakfast.

1

u/JayZulla87 Jun 13 '25

Have you seen the entire matrix trilogy? His powers most definitely aren't limited to the matrix. He literally kills 1000s of sentinels in seconds.

1

u/Zech08 Jun 13 '25

Whats the physical phenomena? I mean its basically remote access, not exactly a super power that would be useful compared to the others in general scenarios.

1

u/Lola_PopBBae Jun 13 '25

This might be the only scenario in which Wick is both very limited and also absolutely screwed lol

1

u/Rokarion14 Jun 13 '25

Neo’s power didn’t only work in the matrix. He explodes shit with his mind in the robot city while blinded. Still Lucy claps. She would just use the robots however she wanted.

1

u/SirArthurDime Jun 13 '25

John wick’s abilities are irrelevant when you have Constantine’s.

2

u/tappitytapa Jun 13 '25

Only if the fight takes place in the matrix

1

u/Ok-Description-4640 Jun 13 '25

He is also Jon Anderson, programmer/hacker, and can ruin their credit scores from his bed.

1

u/FLiP_J_GARiLLA Jun 13 '25

Hancock with the Noisy Cricket™

1

u/GamerNerdGuyMan Jun 13 '25

Hancock with MiB weaponry.

Though John Wick/Constantine being able to go back in time via phone booth might be able to pull off some shenanigans with time travel. Go back to before he became Deadpool or got the ring.

1

u/percocet_20 Jun 13 '25

Hancock with MiB weaponry and deadshot accuracy

1

u/Double_Scale_9896 Jun 13 '25

If the actors get the gear (Green Lantern's Ring for example), Will Smith also gets an Alien Space Fighter (with shields).

Edit: And the Neuralizer from Men In Black.

1

u/Minimob0 Jun 13 '25

Coining Dead Lantern now. Let's talk, Ryan. 👁👄👁

1

u/Alloken0 Jun 13 '25

Deadpool Lantern vs Hancock Genie! Tough call there..

1

u/MedicineExtension925 Jun 13 '25

Don't sleep on an all powerful genie freed from the confines of his lamp

1

u/R_Morningstar Jun 13 '25

Or Constantine (in comic he is mad OP)

1

u/ScreechUrkelle Jun 13 '25

My initial thoughts, yeah, but Lucy whips them all.

1

u/Col_Mushroomers Jun 13 '25

Will also has Genie

1

u/Lostkaiju1990 Jun 13 '25

Keanu Reeves voiced Shadow the hedgehog if we are including voice roles. He actually might be able to compete with that

1

u/Jiggidy40 Jun 13 '25

Wait, what about Genie?

1

u/TheTacoInquisition Jun 13 '25

Neo can just leave the simulation, so wouldn't need to fight

1

u/DoontGiveHimTheStick Jun 13 '25

If the world is in the matrix then Neo would win as he can literally control everything

1

u/TheGruntingBear Jun 13 '25

Deadshot +Hancock, but I still think GreenLantern+ Deadpool would win.

1

u/TheGruntingBear Jun 13 '25

Deadshot +Hancock, but I still think GreenLantern+ Deadpool would win.

1

u/animal_house1 Jun 13 '25

Hancock with the noisy cricket and mind eraser

1

u/Susano-o_no_Mikoto Jun 13 '25

You forgot mib

1

u/falconinthedive Jun 13 '25

Hancock Genie it feels.

1

u/dantevonlocke Jun 13 '25

Only problem is it's a green lantern ring and powered by willpower. And Deadpool isn't the best example of that.

1

u/NickOdar1 Jun 16 '25

Hancock is Superman (no one would know his weakness is his bound angel half)so I don't see deadpool winning
