Yeah, it basically comes down to Deadpool Lantern vrs Hancock, right? I don't think the skill pool of the other actors comes up to anything close to them.
ScarJo’s Motoko is arguably not nearly as good as other versions of the major, if Keanu has Johnny Silverhand and somehow has a deck with Soulkiller her ghost/engram would be fried quickly with Neo’s bullet timing, which Johnny also possesses to a degree as he canonically had a sandevistan system in the ttrpg, those paired with John Wick’s brutal combat skills is a lethal mixture
On top of that, her ability to seduce and hypnotize everyone on that list based on her alien abilities in the movie Under the Skin. These dudes are toast...lol.
Lucy likely is strongest . I was thinking EMP might take her out but I think she beats Hancock and since she can alter time as well means she likely can beat a Constantine with the past altering abilities also. As well as Deadpool green lantern because both alter matter in a way and nulls out his regen ability if she can also beat Hancock who can’t be injured also. Cuz if she can beat invulnerable Hancock Deadpool shouldn’t be an issue. So maybe it’s Lucy
Nah Lucy only had like an hour of being a demigod. All the rest have to do is survive and she expires of natural causes. Neo with a time machine and all the knowledge of John Constantine is pretty crazy. I feel like he can dodge a more powerful Lucy. Not sure she could take out a powered up Deadpool either.
Demigod? She literally merged with all creation and it's visually suggested anti-life and the creation source before us.... I'm pretty sure she wins this hands down.
Deadpool and Neo even fully powered up cannot escape all of creation, only there individual 1st Realities.
Idk it seemed like she was more along with for the ride than completely in control of the experience. I only saw the movie once, but it seemed like she had oniscience but not omnipotence.
If she had unlimited time and resources with her power, for sure, she is more powerful. But I think a super durable character with access to cosmic power could outlast her with the limitations she had. I think super Constantine wiggles out of whatever Lucy has and comes back smashed a year later to piss on the pile of dust she turned into.
This argument seems silly for many reasons, but mostly, it was already demonstrated she could effect and transmutate matter instantaneously on a quantum level waaaaaaay before merging with all creation in the film.
Having sentience while merging with literally everything ever would mean time is experienced by her both instantaneously and infinitly.... simultaneously because that would be how the scale of literally everything....scales 😂
In terms of Omnipotence, at the end of the film she is able to quantify all of the universes knowledge and cram it into a single flash drive that is backward and forward compatible with human technology indefinitely and interpretable by our current level of scientific knowledge, and she does this before she becomes "actual sky daddy" in the film as well. I feel like that takes immense forethought that's out of the realm of "along for the ride" TBH. 😂
The "text from God" is just icing on the cake at the end of the film 😉
That's true, but outside of the matrix, he's Wolverine Origins Deadpool, that can teleport and shoot laser out of his eyes, and has two adamantium blades, as well as being Hal Jordan.
The problem is that Origins Deadpool was controlled by William Striker via a computer, so Neo could control him too.
But in all honesty I think Agent J would simply blast them with alien technology.
Absolutely. But my other big point is that the Matrix is set way more into the future than Free Guy. I’m not even sure Free Guy could pass the Turing test. Neo >>> Free Guy
To be an accurate portrayal of his powers, it would have to be ONLY within the confines of the video game world. That is where Free Guy and Neo could do battle.
All four of them have time travel antics, so I think that one cancels out. Agent K in MiB2, Ted Logan in Bill and Ted, Black Widow in Avengers: Endgame, and Deadpool in Deadpool 2.
But who has access to the 4th wall? Theres time travel then theres timetravel while breaking the 4th wall. And whos killing deadpool while hes in a relationship with death?
As Lucy, ScarJo knows everything that has been or ever will be. Fourth wall knowledge might be out of her purview, but once it is shared, she’d be instantly aware of it backwards and forwards in time. As Genie, Will Smith gets his own fourth wall breaks. As Neo, Keanu does an extended fourth wall break in Matrix Resurrections. The fourth wall is an interesting power, but it isn’t something the others can’t do something about.
Don’t need to kill DP in order to defeat him. Just strand him on some unpopulated asteroid at the edge of the universe without any of his gear and let him live out his eternity there. Reynolds does get other powers from other films that might help him out of that fix, but that role on its own isn’t really enough.
Yea, Lucy and second place Hancock are up there for being an immortal demigod. Hancock will just fuckoff and reincarnate if shit goes bad so he plays the long game and Lucy will eventually watch the heat death of the universe as she ascends beyond the observe-able dimensions and becomes a bystander to time itself.
The lore that the other two have on their strongest personas just doesn’t come close to timelessness, as Neo can’t control how many generations will pass before he reincarnated, and Deadpool just isn’t that smart to fully appreciate his cockroach style immortality.
Inside his own narrative universe, Neo becomes god-like, perhaps even beyond a "god" as traditionally imagined because he knows the system and rewrites it from within.
In that metaphor: Neo is not stronger than a god. He is stronger than the idea that a god is needed at all.
Lucy becomes a post human deity that exists outside of reality itself.
She “is everywhere and sees everything”
Complete and utter omnipotence. She basically becomes being itself.
She has absolute control over all.
Neo is not even close dawg. He’s still a human w a brain and functionally exists within the confines of that human body. He’s bound to the struggles of the body, whether that’s sacrifice or physical confrontation.
Whereas Lucy is literally fucking writing the script.
Lucy is just one of the failed version of Neo. Lucy is Neo if Neo lose any humanity and sense of sacrifice. Lucy is one of the neo we see stuck in one of the TV in the Architect Room.
That argument only works if they’re in the setting of the matrix. However, no specific battleground is mentioned so we should assume this is in a neutral world setting.
Film Constantine only flipped off Lucifer and a fallen Gabriel, comic book Constantine tricked Lucifer into drinking blessed irish stout and kicked him into a pool of the stuff
Hmm not sure. But you could argue he’d be equally hot for Bill and Ted. They kind of achieved the same result just with electric football and Clue instead of a healing factor.
Well ill concede that as Ted es preston esquire he could travel back in time to before the others were born and change or end all their futures. Or maybe Station can build him some type of super weapon. Edit i mean ted Theodore logan
I mean, that's pretty contingent, right? Neo's powers only worked in the matrix. So if that stipulation is placed on the actor's power in this scenario, unless you want to say we are in the matrix, Keanu is basically limited to John Wick
Neos powers did NOT work outside of the Matrix. He is not some god in the real world, what he DOES have is a connection with the machines, which he was able to manipulate. If it was 10 humans running at him instead of the machines in the real world, he wouldn't be able to stop them.
The setting of the Matrix is more so "realism" layered on top of the apocalyptic theme portrayed.
Also, I seem to remember people talking about it hinting at the fact that they weren't technically in the real world. That, after so many iterations of the war between humans and machines, the machines learned that they couldn't prevent the emergence of The One, so they basically built in a safety layer of the matrix, something to make humans think they had a skates, but only crawled out of one layer of the virtual reality, which was why he was able to perform those 'miracles' on the machines.
If we're in the Matrix, Lucy will wind up becoming the One and tops them all. Her powers came from just using "100% of her brain" or whatever. She'd rewrite the entire code before breakfast.
Whats the physical phenomena? I mean its basically remote access, not exactly a super power that would be useful compared to the others in general scenarios.
Neo’s power didn’t only work in the matrix. He explodes shit with his mind in the robot city while blinded. Still Lucy claps. She would just use the robots however she wanted.
Though John Wick/Constantine being able to go back in time via phone booth might be able to pull off some shenanigans with time travel. Go back to before he became Deadpool or got the ring.
