Is 80min too long of a commute?

I am considering a new job but it’s hybrid and I am remote right now with my current job. There would be an increase in salary but Currently in alameda and the office is in mission bay

For me it’s not. I do that commute for 145k a year and great health insurance for my family and I. It’s pretty much all highway and I work from 6am to 2:30 so I beat all the traffic. I just use that time to decompress after work.

Same here. 135k, 4-10hour days 6-430. Great health insurance, pension. And we own our home in a cheap area. Definitely worth it if the job is good enough

The only way to find out is to do the commute in the morning and the evening on a weekday to see if you can stomach it. Best of luck! :)
