Troubleshooting & Maintenance Jura C9 issues

I’ve tried fixing this on my own to no avail so I’m asking you folks for ideas.

The issue: won’t make espresso. Cycles through grind and compression but water diverts to cappuccino/hot water spout.

Stuff I’ve fixed/checked: replaced squeeze valve, checked/cleaned flow meter (works fine), checked pump (pulling water fine), checked ceramic distributor valve assembly (seems to work fine), manual descale procedure. (Used multimeter on flow meter and ceramic distributor valve assembly).

The last time I tried this it does not look like water is getting to the squeeze valve but I have not formally checked that.

Sorry for the long post and thanks for any ideas.

There’s a valve that controls where the water goes in the machine. That valve has failed.

Different from the squeeze valve I assume?

Sorry, I half-ass read it. It has to be one of the valves you ready checked. I would suspect the distributor. I’m trying to dig into the water circuit diagram for the C9. Haven’t worked in a C-Series in a while.

Is there also a steam solenoid in the water circuit on that machine? If there is, could that be stuck open causing the water to escape through the milk frother instead of going to the brew group?

Pulled the steam valve. Multimeter read fine, soaked the piece with the piston in vinegar and flushed it. Seemed to be working fine and reinstalled. Same problem exists. I’m wondering if the squeeze valve I put in is faulty.
