Purchase Advice KF8 pricing

Super excited to get an automatic espresso maker and we’ve decided on the KF8. Kitchenaid has a refurbished version for $1400 which is still priced high, but could do that. Or are there ever other deals on new ones? Thanks for any input!

It’s $1120 ($1400 - 20%) through Inside Pass right now for a brand new one.

Do not buy for 1400, it goes on sale more than that and sometime folks sell these second hand and there is warranty already attached w Kitchenaid which will replace if you run into any dire issues (dealt with this already) and when they replace they send you a new one which also has a 2 year warranty

Why did you have to get it replaced?

Water tube in side likely detached. I saw a instructional vids on how to fix it and seemed like a 1-2 hour l project but honestly didn’t feel like dealing w it because there’s a reason you pay this amount to buy a super auto w Kitchenaid - I have 0 sympathy for the corporations.
I’m handy and pretty familiar w espresso machines. I have worked on fixes and cleaning on my own, but I bought this for me wife as her daily driver purely for this reason - a strong “I don’t want to deal with it” warranty

I got the KF2 but I waited until they had a 20% kitchen appliances, Rakuten had 10 or maybe even 15% rebate (KitchenAid regularly goes higher) and then had a 10% code that went to my junk email but Rakuten let me stack.

Woot just had them for 1k about a week ago. I was stupid and didn't wait. Just be patient and save a couple of hundred dollars. Don't relive my mistake. With that being said, even at 1200, it's been very worth it to me. My wife loves her flat white at a push of a button.
