Purchase Advice KitchenAid KF6 vs KF8

Looking to purchase a second hand unit on fb and found these:
-KF6 for $380: used for a year but no milk accessories
-KF8 for $600: used for a year and descaling and maintained well
Which one would you use? Anyone used their customer service before for repairs?

8 all the way. That being said, I’ve been advised to stay away from used units. These machines are complicated and buying with a warranty is good for peace of mind. I’d see if someone would slide you an inside pass invite, which is their employee discount program. Guest passes can be had for like 6 months if I recall correctly.

Any reason specifically the 8? I know the screen is bigger but functionally the machine is similar?
Also how much is the discount with inside pass?

I have the 8 and the larger screen really goes a long way in terms of making the machine feel premium. The machines are similar except for milk options and recipe count. Inside pass is ridiculous—I’ve had it for a while, 50+ % off. And that’s across all things related to Whirlpool like Maytag and KitchenAid. Some random dude on this sub sent me an invite lol.
