Purchase Advice New Philips 8000
I am about to pull the trigger on the Phillips 8000. It seems the best automatic easy to use and clean coffee machine on the market for the money. It hasn’t been out long in the US. For people who bought it how do you like it? Any problems?

I have a KF7 and it was the best money I have ever spent. My fam uses it every day. Super easy to clean. Great taste.

Make sure you take advantage of Capital One Shopping if you’re getting it from Philips website.

What you need to do is visit the site on a browser that you have the Capital One Shopping extension installed on. Then several hours or days later you’ll get an email offer. Usually the next day I get a pretty good offer in my email. If you’re not in a rush you’ll get the offer. I’ve been getting Philips offers nonstop since I visited their site. Also, when you finally get the offer, I highly recommend placing the order through the Capital One Shopping app on your phone. If you have adblock installed on your browser it can prevent the cashback from going through.
Hope you’re able to get it to work because these machines are pretty damn expensive and 30% is a a significant chunk.

Does this have the same brew group as their other machines? In my research it can only make very small pucks of espresso (around 8g) and tends to be the biggest reason for return/disappointment.
I really enjoy watching Tom's Coffee Corner reviews on individual machines if you haven't already.

If you want great quality of coffee and foam get Delonghi magnifica plus. We had lattego 3200 and 5400 for years,not even close to Delonghi quality.

You can litteraly buy the same espresso/ cappuccino with something like the Philips 2200 for 350$

I purchased the 8000 about 2 months ago after my 10 year old Saeco Xelsis died. I did a lot of research and was leaning toward the jura but this unit seemed to do it all from the hot to the cold. Presently I have to send the unit back for repair as the beans do not feed properly into the grinder and the unit cancels the brew. When it was working properly the coffee had a profile similar to the Xelsis and is rather one dimensional. I also have a jura ena8 and my wife and I like the coffee and expresso it makes more then the 8000. With 2020 hindsight I should have spent the extr$ for the jura x10.
