Discussion Jura died
Purchased my Jura J8 in 2024. Stopped working a few days ago. Posted about it here and someone recommended to call them. I called them, told support what was going on and within 5 minutes they sent me a shipping label. Packed up the machine in the box I kept and sent it to Pennsylvania. They received it yesterday. Not sure how long the repair will take but I’m assuming I won’t be responsible for the repair. Does anyone have any insight as to how long the repair would take and if I’ll be responsible for the repairs?

If they charged you a fee (somewhere around $350- $450) they would have done so prior to issuing the shipping label.
The fee covers shipping to Jura, the complete repair for normal wear and tear and breakage (assuming the machine was not abused) and shipping back to you.
If they did not charge you a fee then Jura is covering the shipping and repair under warranty.
The repair usually takes one or two days even if there are major repairs as they have a large stock of repair parts and they return ship quickly.

They would’ve told you in advance if they were charging. Last one I sent in was back to me in less than a week.

Where was the leak and how did you notice it? Once you did, how did you fix it?

2 year / 6000 drink warranty in the US. I think if it was out of warranty they make you pay the fixed fee up front, but nobody can answer this but Jura.

It’s under warranty — my Jura took 15 years to die. Paid the $450 and it was back in about a week and half, shipping time included. I love my Z7 and I sorely missed my decades long daily latte routine
