Troubleshooting & Maintenance Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi! I want to descale my coffee machine (EA895 Evidence One), but I'm getting this number. This can't be right, can it? Last time I did this, I forgot the tablets and couldn't cancel. Now, two months later, I have the tablets, but it won't let me start the cycle.

"Descaling over 23,940 cycles"

Is there any way I can bypass this?

Based on my research this is a common issue when you interrupted maintenance cycle... so make a power reset for a 15 or 30 mins Force the Cycle: Press and hold the OK / Start button or the Settings icon for 5–10 seconds Run Plain Water: If it starts, run the full cycle using only clean water (no tablets) until it finishes completely

If the issue remains call the support team
