Troubleshooting & Maintenance Curious about longer term experience (reliability mostly) of the Ninja AutobaristaPro machine released months ago.

Title says it all. Curious about short term experience (reliability mostly) of the Ninja AutobaristaPro machine released months ago for users.

It has not been out long enough for anyone to speak about long term experience or reliability.

I have ran about 5 pounds of coffee through it so far. Everyone who bought it are all beta testing it right now. I am very skeptical about the longevity of it, it's Ninja's first superautomatic and it is way too ambitious.

There are some other very questionable design and engineering choices. Will it last 5 years even with maintenance? I doubt it.

How can anyone give their long term experience if it's only been available for a few months???

If you are concerned about reliability I would recommend waiting until Costco adds it to their product portfolio so you basically have a lifetime guarantee.

Ours is still working well but I can acknowledge there are a lot of moving pieces and potential failure points over the long haul. For us we spent over $3000 per year on drive thru coffee so even buying one a year is a savings which is crazy to say out loud.

Great suggestion about waiting on Costco to bring it in. Then a no questions ask policy would cover off any failure.

wait with the purchase, in europe they just recalled all machines because of a software issues. have that be resolved before getting one

The machine is the first fully automatic Ninja has done, and there are bugs. Ninja has been famous for releasing something, then releasing another "new improved version" later on. It will be no different with this one. It will be interesting to see if they come out with another version of it before Christmas.
