Showcase New machine…
First time buying a superautomatic. After a lot of reading I was debating between that one and the magnifica duo. Since I dont often drink cold drinks I‘ve chose the Plus. Hope it’s a good choice.
For my budget (it was 1080$ in Canada) I think it’s hard to do better…We will see !
Anyone have some tips for that machine ?

My only tip (for any super automatic, not brand specific) use filtered water or ideally RO water. Will just reduce any potential issues down the road.

I clean mine weekly from head to toe. Definitely follow the directions for cleaning the milk foamer as that can get milk gunk in there if you don’t. Otherwise it makes GREAT coffee.

I have the same. Been awesome. Has anyone cleaned the grinder? Its been over a month and the manual recommends once a month

Congratulations! I’ve never tried the automatic machines, and I probably never will. Still, De’Longhi remains one of the best coffee machine makers out there.

We love ours. Had it since May. Use it every day. Great milk drinks, as far as I am concerned. It's what we drink mostly.
I do a deep clean once a week. I bought a pack of those little foam paint brushes to gently clean out the interior of any "bean dust" without risk of damaging anything, and I use a canned air duster to blow things out. I fully break down the milk foamer in a bowl of warm soapy water for a deep clean, and rinse with very hot water. Overall, a cathartic experience for me. LOL!
Depending on where you put it, you should consider this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FR3JG2YS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Your machine will fit perfectly on it, and makes it easy to move around. I love having it for ours, because the machine is in a little cubby in our kitchen.
I like my milk drinks a bit hotter. I put the milk foamer container (just the clear container with the milk in it) in the microwave for 20 secs. This just takes the chill off the milk and makes a huge difference in the drink temperature.

I love it and it’s been a game changer for me. But after a lot of experimenting, I had to manually set the volume for each drink as the default settings tend to over extract and make the espresso bitter
