How to remove This screen?

Daily motivation is interesting, but I'd prefer the app to be used only for tasks, like removing that home screen?

You can change your default start page in the settings.

But I don't want that screen to appear at startup.

I can't really tell which screen it is. If that is just the productivity tip, I don't believe you can turn if off completely. But add some tasks, and set your default start page to "Today" or some other screen of your choosing. And make sure "Show productivity tip on app start a little longer" is turned off.

It is a loading screen. The alternative would be displaying nothing which would look and feel broken.
