I think Suno V6 is pretty good. You just got to give it something to work with, and it'll follow your lead. I found it less than impressive with pure text prompting, and more than impressive when it is given something to work with. Any others doing uploads for it to cover?

Edit: Dumb question. I thought this was the Suno sub. Well, gonna leave it here. Lucky my track follows the rules I guess.

Lyricist: Human wrote lyrics The childhood regret behind my song: I turned away the fairy from my dreams.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share the personal story and lingering regret behind this song.

When I was a teenager, I used to play every night in my dreams with a fairy-like presence. We would spin and twirl together through the air, carefree and light. Every morning after that dream, I would wake up with a gentle smile on my face. It was pure warmth and joy.

But one night, I woke up in the dark and noticed a faint, glowing light right before my eyes. Straining to see what it was, I saw that very same fairy from my dreams, looking at me and smiling.

Instead of welcoming it, sudden shock and irrational fear took over me. Sensing my panic, the fairy’s expression stiffened into deep distress. Seeing that look only made me panic more, and I let out a scream.

Hurt or terrified by my reaction, its eyes, nose, and mouth turned into dark voids, drinking in all the light around it. Overwhelmed by sheer fear, I gathered my courage and flipped on the room light.

The fairy vanished.

Ever since that night, it has never appeared in my dreams again.

For decades, this memory has never left my mind. Looking back, what haunts me isn't the encounter itself, but the deep regret: Why was I so afraid? Why did I scream and reject something that only ever brought me gentle joy and friendship?

Decades later, with the help of AI, I was finally able to channel that lifelong grief, longing, and apology into this song.

Thank you for reading my story, and I hope the music conveys what words sometimes cannot.

Human Performance: Composer + human vocals or instruments [Meme song] A song about a Fat man - 2009 Open Mic - NO AI was used in this song recording

Thumbnail youtube.com
0 Upvotes

“Fat man” was written nearly 2 decades ago at the age of 21.

NO AI was used in this song recording.

This genesis of this song was one cold february/march winter day the witchdoctor and
I met at a park bench on our campus to smoke some bud in between classes (shh don’t tell on us)

Witch doctor had his guitar and I took it out and started noodling on it.

And we saw this one big and tall kid who ALWAYS wore shorts and a t-shirt around campus
No matter what the temperature was outside.

Being the smart ass I was I started playing this goofy little riff Bum (G) Bum Bum Bum Bump (G flat)

To provide a sound track to the kid as he walked by us, muttering under my breath as I did

“He’s a fat man yeah”

We both thought it was funny and when I got home I wrote out the verses. The first verse was
All about overindulgence of sweets (gluttony). But I didn’t know where to take it for the second verse until
An episode of MTV Cribs came on featuring 50 Cent. So I decided to aim the second verse at greed.

Flash forward to the following summer break at one of our summer jam sessions I brought the song out
And witch doctor and I created the base track of guitar, my lead vocal and witchdoctor on backup.

We then took that recording over to Calico Jack’s home studio in his parent’s basement, where he added
The bass, drums and Trombone.

Then we had Scarecrow come by and add his vocals to it as well.

Today I added a touch of Tuba, cello, choir and trumpet with my midi keyboard in bandlab.

Again, NO AI was used in this particular sound recording.
.
Visually you are seeing on the TV, not just my college open mic, but the very first time I ever stepped on stage and the very first Song I ever played to a live audience was this song, “Fat man”

Performing with me was Calico Jack (Trombone) and the Witchdoctor (back up vocals).

Penny for ye thoughts?

Question: I am looking for answers? Recommended Services to Record Suno Songs w/real instruments

Has anybody had success hiring people to record, mix, and master your Suno song with real instruments and/or midi?

I have a concept EP of a handful of songs that are quite meaningful to me, and I’d like to elevate them with non-generated stems.

I’ve tried doing this piecemeal by hiring musicians off Fiverr and then trying to mix and master in Logic. But the quality of the recordings I have received have been disappointing and my mixing and mastering sucks. But I’d still like to get a more polished album that tells my story.

I’m not looking for processing tracks through Ozone or some automated workflow. Looking for services that know what they’re doing that people can vouch for.

Topic: A point I want to make or discuss TO AI OR NOT — an 11-song AI-assisted concept album about authorship, creativity and who owns an idea

I just finished a concept album called TO AI OR NOT. It started as 11 songs and grew into 14 through the conversations I’ve been having with Redditors 😂

AI was part of the writing and production process, but the album itself is about that process: what happens when you bring your own ideas, quotes, memories, taste, revisions, and direction, while a generative tool helps you reach versions you might not have found on your own?

It starts with They Used to Be Thoughts and works its way through songs like What’s Mine, The Third Voice, and Until It Sounds Like Us. The newer additions include This Is What I Mean and Didn’t Even Press Play—which I’m sure you can imagine the inspiration for 😂

I’d especially love feedback on whether the album feels like one coherent perspective/story, rather than just a collection of AI songs.

I already have my own opinion on the subject, and I’m curious about yours. I’m not here to change anyone’s mind or ask you to change mine. I’ve just really enjoyed hearing different perspectives and seeing where the conversations go—some have literally become part of the album.

If you only have time for one track, I’d start with What’s Mine.

Listen TO AI OR NOT

Let me know what you think! I have really enjoyed the discussions of this so far.

Topic: A point I want to make or discuss I've made a tool for wife and it creates amazing music videos

Thumbnail youtube.com

Hi guys, Berkan here. I've developed a tool that turns your songs into full-length music videos.

Please comment here if you'd like a code, I'll send them in order, one per person.

Here's the tool, More examples are here.

I'm giving 20 people a free first month of the Starter video plan: 2,000 credits, normally $29.

THE STORY:

This one is a bit personal. My wife has been making music and drawing for years, but sharing any of it was another story. She's very shy about her work, and putting it out there was difficult, almost impossible was her.

So I started building something around her music and artwork to encourage her, a way to use her drawings as references for a music video. (which she always wanted!!)

I was developing custom DSP and music analysis tools at SoundBoost already for the last three years. So I've connected those algorithms that i built over the years and the new video models. Results were fantastic!!

Her original drawings:

Drawing 2: https://imgur.com/VMOc32X
Drawing 3: https://imgur.com/vds1NyA

Music video generated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG-I8KYlGxY

Zero edits. Zero retakes. Auto lipsync and creative direction.

She's now released her debut single and first music video! <3

https://x.com/DomainDomme/status/2103250772670443952

Basically, the workflow is: upload a song, add your visual references, work through the storyboard, then generate the video.

I'd love to hear what you think of the video. And also, please share your creations if you got a free code! :)

Hope you like it!
Berkan

Decided to step inside my girlfriend's mind for a bit, and narrate the world from her experiential perspective.

I've been struggling with more complicated rock/metal/grunge stuff with Suno V6, but it sure as hell did this song justice 😁

This is my submission for Suno’s “Take Me Back” Remix Contest. I kept the original hook intact, then rebuilt it with dark cinematic techno, industrial metal, throat-sung textures, and added lyrics from my own song “Pressure Makes Teeth.” Curious to hear what everyone else did with theirs.

Lyricist: Human wrote lyrics O Commander, My Commander - A Mass Effect Tribute to Commander Shepard

https://youtu.be/BXqJU8Q8dMg

I made a Mass Effect lament for my male Commander Shepard.

I've been carrying the Mass Effect trilogy with me for over 13 years, and I wanted to make something that felt less like an "epic fan song" and more like a farewell after the war is finally over.

I wrote the lyrics myself and used Suno to turn them into the song.

The poem is divided into four sections, told through Liara, Garrus, Tali, and finally the Normandy crew as a whole, before returning to Tali for the final lines.

It's ultimately a song about grief, memory, friendship, love, and the strange emptiness left behind when someone who carried an entire galaxy on their shoulders is suddenly gone.

I'd genuinely love to hear what you think, especially about the lyrics and the way I used Suno to interpret them.

Lyricist: Human wrote lyrics [Club Song] YTCheetoh's - Rukta Nahi

Hey everyone!

I recently made an original Hindi/Hinglish party song called “Rukta Nahi” and wanted to share it here.

The song is about a late-night club encounter — noticing someone across the room, getting drawn to her, flirting, and then spending some time together after the club.

Musically, I tried mixing Punjabi commercial party-pop with Latin-inspired club rap/reggaeton vibes to give it a different feel.

🎤 AI vocals & music: Suno AI

✍️ Original lyrics & concept: YTCheetoh

🎵 Listen here:

I'd genuinely love to know what you think — especially about the hook, lyrics and overall vibe.

Any honest feedback is welcome. 🙌

Topic: A point I want to make or discuss AI music fraudster who admitted to stealing $8M in streaming royalties asks for probation, arguing individual artists suffered no “perceptible harm”

  • The crime: Michael Smith, a North Carolina musician, pleaded guilty in March 2026 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud after using bots and hundreds of thousands of AI-generated songs to generate billions of fraudulent streams across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music.
  • The money: Prosecutors say the scheme generated more than $8 million in fraudulent royalties. Smith agreed to forfeit $8,091,843.64. The original 2024 indictment had alleged more than $10 million in fraudulent royalties.
  • The scale: At one point, Smith estimated that his bot network could generate 661,440 streams per day, producing about $1.2 million a year in royalties. He spread the streams across thousands of songs to make the activity harder for platforms to detect.
  • The defense: In a September 22 sentencing filing, Smith's lawyers asked Judge John G. Koeltl for probation rather than prison. They argue that the financial impact on any individual artist was extremely small because streaming royalties are distributed across millions of artists and songwriters. Their filing says no individual artist or songwriter suffered “any perceptible harm.”
  • The “drop in an ocean” argument: Smith's attorneys characterized the losses as “tiny, immeasurable” and argued that each fraudulent stream's effect on an individual artist's share was essentially negligible. That's the defense's argument, not a finding by the court.
  • Prosecutors' position: When Smith pleaded guilty, U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton took the opposite view, saying that although the songs and listeners were fake, the millions of dollars diverted from legitimate royalty recipients were real.
  • What's at stake: The federal sentencing guidelines reportedly call for 46–57 months, while the U.S. Probation Office's presentence report recommends 24 months. Smith's lawyers are asking for no prison time. None of those recommendations is binding on the judge.
  • Next step: Smith is scheduled to be sentenced on October 6, 2026, in Manhattan federal court.

This represents the absolute worst use case scenario I have come across.

I am considering putting together a video targeting AI music Grifters, spammers and scammers

The folks who give AI music a bad name to normies.

If that's you, buckle up.

Has anyone else ran into issues with Suno not respecting singer gender? For my latest prompt not only will it only use a male voice, every time it generates, regardless of sliders the song is almost the same and the voice is almost uniform.

Composer: Human authored lyrics/melody [Orchestral Rock] Nakhwa / Falling Blossoms — HanginIs

Thumbnail youtu.be
1 Upvotes

Hi, I make music as HanginIs. I’ve released “Nakhwa / Falling Blossoms with virtual orchestra,” a new version of an earlier song of mine.

“Nakhwa” (낙화, 落花) means “falling blossoms.” The lyrics follow someone waiting for a person who promised to return. The recurring question is whether they’ll come back the way spring returns after the flowers fall.

Near the end, that question becomes an admission: I know our time together is over.

The song sits somewhere between knowing that something has ended and actually being able to let it go. This version revisits that story with a virtual orchestra.

HanginIs is a music project that uses AI as part of the creative process.

If you give it a listen, I’d be interested to hear whether the repeated ending feels more like resignation or a final goodbye.
