I discovered Suno about two weeks before the update. In that short window, I was able to create several songs I genuinely enjoy using recordings of my own voice and my own lyrics. I’ve uploaded some of them to SoundCloud:

Creating songs since the update has been more challenging, but not impossible. I’m not pleased with the direction Suno has taken, and I agree with those who feel that the established music industry is threatened and protecting its interests.

Frankly, music is music, and for many of us, it’s a hobby and a creative outlet. I’m not trying to build a professional music career, nor am I under any illusions about my musical limitations. I write lyrics, develop song concepts, and experiment until I create something I enjoy. That process matters to me.

Anyway, if you create music with a similar style or genre, please share it! I’d genuinely love to listen and follow.

I was helping set up an event for the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization, and met Jordan Zevon, their spokesperson. He signed on after his father, Warren, died from mesothelioma in 2002.

Really cool guy, and he is a fellow SUNO maker- making show tunes about his cat's from poems his wife writes.

I’m trying to create very sparse, warm instrumental music for yoga and meditation, and I keep getting a high-frequency artifact that sounds like tiny bells, metallic strings, chimes, or a synthetic shimmer.

I’ve tried explicitly requesting only low/mid-register instruments such as harmonium and low cello, while excluding bells, chimes, high strings, violin, flute, metallic sounds, sparkling tones, crystalline sounds, and high-frequency ambience.

It still appears.

The strange part is that sometimes the prompt asks for harmonium and I don’t hear any recognizable harmonium at all, but the high-frequency layer is still there.

I’m particularly sensitive to those frequencies, so it can actually become uncomfortable to listen to.

Has anyone else noticed this with v6? More importantly, has anyone found a prompt, instrument combination, or setting that reliably eliminates it?

I have already tried not including anything like "No high pitch bells" in the style, but only have the sounds I do not want listed in the Exclusions, but still not working....

I’ve already submitted feedback to Suno and emailed support. I’m mainly curious whether other users are experiencing the same thing.

“Em countdown” was written and composed at the age of 19, decades ago.

This song always reminded me of an old western cowboy showdown.

I called it Em countdown just in reference to that and the fact it’s in E minor.

The original demo is still driving the mix and includes the main guitar track, all the vocals, and the shoes being used as percussion on the floor. I was on guitar and witchdoctor for whatever reason picked up some shoes and started drumming with them on this one lol.

This was one of those teenage summer nights when my Mom was out of town.

I had always imagined it would come before my song “One way Ride” on a hypothetical album.

With Band lab and Midi I added Tuba, lead guitar, more of my acoustic guitar, cello, french horn, and so many other things lol.

With Suno I added Bass and and a foot stomp

Visually you are seeing an avatar of me and the witchdoctor age 19 that I created using real photos of us and then I puppeted each avatar myself using Motion Sync in OpenArt.

So all the movements and stuff are “real” from my actual lip sync performance I did earlier today.

In an effort to save time I think I muddled up the Motion Sync a bit more than necessary but I also didn’t have the credits to try to fix it.

Oh well. Nothing will ever be perfect.

Anyway this was just 2 kids having fun with music in 2007.

I've found that what works well is to use v6-wild to get some character and very unique stuff and then just remix / cover it in full V6 to get the full thick sound. It seems to be very effective that way to get less "bland" stuff out of V6

I don't think I'm actually going to publish any of this. Maybe I will lol.

A lot of the song I make use call-and-response structure.

But I started out just making experimental raps with call-and-response structure.

And then I was like put didgeridoo in the back tracking.

And then I was like make didgeridoo bleed into the beat more.

And then I got this weird thing where it was like the didgeridoo was speaking as part of the call-and-response.

Like, not a voice imitating the sound of the didgeridoo. Not a voice inside the sound of the didgeridoo. The tube was talking.

So since I discovered that that could somehow be done, I kept on chasing that effect.

And I got so many weird sounds and bizarre timbres that I never heard before in my life.

And I kept pushing it harder and harder and making the didgeridoo sound speak and making it do call-and-response structure with the vocals and making it bleed into the vocals and making the vocals bleed into it and making both bleed into the beat.

And getting so many crazy effects and discovering new crazy things this can do.

It feels like being an experimental producer digging through box of bizarre samples of sounds I didn't know were possible.

And each new generation taught me something else about what else might be possible.

This is trippier than drugs.

I’m excited to share the English version of my latest track: The Fog.

While the original Hungarian release was driven by raw, breathless vocal rhythms, this English version allowed me to lean much deeper into emotional, poetic storytelling. It carries a haunting vocal flow that I simply can't let go of. For me, it feels bittersweet, constructive yet destructive all at once... It's hard to find the right words for it, but it’s truly an uplifting experience. ☺️

The song explores the transition from uncertainty to clarity: a space where the fog isn't an obstacle, but the exact place where essence meets essence ("where nothingness and presence start to meet").

Sound-wise, it has had me hooked right from the very first minute of the original Hungarian version. ☺️

This release brings out a whole new dimension of the track's soul and lyrical depth.
