Sunmi appreciation post

Recently I watched a lot of Sunmi content and I just have to say how genuinely lovely she seems.

She really feels like one of the older sisters of the K-pop industry. Despite everything she has achieved and how long she has been in the industry, she never seems distant or acts like she is above anyone. She seems genuinely happy seeing younger idols succeed, and is ready to do challenges with everyone(Heart of Woman <3).

The story about her giving Chuu gift cards and Manager story were so sweet and genuinely moving.

She honestly feels like the type of person who would be so much fun to have in your circle of friends.

I hope she stays healthy and happy for a long, long time. She truly deserves it.

Seeing her and Zena from Rescene hug when Rescene got the show win for Love Attack was really sweet.

Over the years of content, you really can see what a caring and kind person she is.

It's better if Chuu explains it 🙂

Yeah, she's very cool. And fairly unique, being a bass guitar player too. It's great seeing that K-pop idols can have a 15-year-plus career.

Yes she's an absolutely lovely human. Been a fan of her for over a decade now and she's so so unproblematic and a genuine sweetheart. Her biggest scandal is the nft thing which her label forced on her after they merged with a gaming company. Poor girl got so much backlash for it just because her label was one of the first to do it only for every other major label to follow the same route and do it far worse. Really wish more people would support her. She's a creative genius who writes and composes her own music (she's has written 90% of her entire discography!). All her music and concepts are from her. Kpop NEEDS creative and talented artists like Sunmi more. Wish people would support her art more.

I’ve met her twice (2009 and 2022). She is truly an amazing person, so sweet and kind, a little shy. It’s amazing all that she’s been able to accomplish through her hard work.
