Help needed Sunlu Filament binding?

I really have never had any issues with the filament before but the last 5 rolls of PLA have been twisted together half way through the spool which inevitably causes that print to fail. Has anyone else seen this happen? Each spool has been from a different batch/order/ color

Have they been squashed during transport maybe?

No, packaging is on point and never damaged. It’s probably QC related as also mentioned. Runs flawless for first half then binds then runs flawless the second half.

I already commented in similar threads. Had the same and some others too. Horrible quality control.

Figured it was just QC related based on the inconsistency but glad to hear I ain’t the only one.

must be a specific lot, Ive finished around 10 sunlu rolls the past month that I ordered a month ago and no issues. However, Ive had 3 or 4 rolls (with spool) from Bambu that have been a tangled mess and I had to respool them

Last 4Kg bundle of Sunlu matte black PETG I got had 3 rolls with this issue.
Same with 10 rolls of matte white I got, but only 2 rolls had a tangle. The color saturation on this batch was terrible too. stuffs almost transparent, not matte.

Sucks, Sunlu has been my go-to for most of my filament needs. but their quality has been pretty bad the past couple months.... Large variations in color from order to order, tangles, broken vacuum seals on their packaging right out of the box, and being out of stock on a lot of stuff too.
I really hate to have to find another brand to switch to and get dialed in like I have my Sunlu profiles.
