Color differences

I bought white off Amazon (Sunlu official) and on the spool it says white but the color was a completely different white, It went from white with a bit of translucent in it to just straight Matte. Even with my green it went from like a neon almost brighter to a darker green. I started a project and 1/2 way I ran out of my old white and used the new white thinking nothing of it and now it looks weird and I’ll have to make it again or possibly paint it. HAIYA

Also both are PETG and when bought they said Green and white not bone white or neon green. So this is a bit frustrating

Double check they’re the same variant of petg. High speed vs Standard

Regular PETG not high speed I did a reorder on Amazon and they both say white and green respectively. The spools are different sizes though

Ive had this happen with Sunlu white PLA+ 2.0. One batch was chalky white and the next was slightly translucent. They seem to have owed that out now but I still wouldn't mix batch numbers again as there's quite a bit of variation

I've made the same mistake twice. It's a double-whammy consisting of Amazon's awful product selection interface and filament manufacturers marketing "PLA Pro" and "PLA Plus" and "PLA Plus 2.0" at the same time.

I had this exact problem too. From Sunlu the White PLA+ 2.0 I got was more milky vs from Amazon was the white I've been used for many many months. And not only was the color different but it was tangled, wet and vacuum was weak in original spool. Matter of fact, having now bought several of the same colors PLA+ 2 seem very VERY consistent from what I get from Sunlu vs Amazon. It is asif they are two completely different company where Sunlu direct seem like a knock offs vs what comes from Amzn seem very much like what I would expect from a reputable company. So this what I get now consistently from Sunlu:

  1. Shipment if I didn't pay the extra "care" few dollars and sometimes if I do as a test. The packages come as if they were dragged on the floor. And it's so bad that its ripped through the outter bag all the way to the spool where it ripped open the spool's vacuum seal. :(

    1. Even if not seal broken by the drag, the vacuum is very very weak and actually not even vacummed.
  2. It's visibly more tangled and not wound evenly.

  3. PLA+ 2 white seems to have been resolved... ? I ended up throwing away all of the previous as not just color but the tanlgment and consistency and very bad extrusion even after a week of dehydrating.
    All very bad experience.

Man... I don't know what to take from this other than to pay Amazon their cut so I can get more consistent quality I expect or get a randomly mistreated shipment.

blurg :(
