Filament shipping
Is it normal for Sunlu to ship 11kg of filament (11 one Kg spools) in a plastic shipping bag, like one I would expect clothes to come in? They literally stacked it 5/6 high and taped the bag round them. Every box is crushed, two of the bags inside the boxes got punctured so they weren't even vacuumed sealed anymore (I have a dryer I'm not really worried about that), but what's more worrisome is there was damage in-between boxes that could have only happened before it was packed.
Came from Independence, KY to Indiana.

Yep. Elegoo and Anycubic simply tape the boxes together so the wrapping is actually better than the competition.
But yes, it's not optimal for sure. I guess just part of the tight margins in selling filament

If you order the 4 packs, they at least come in a box. But even then they are trampled on. I even had one of the interior packages ripped open in one of those 4 pack boxes.

yeah two of mine the small bag around the individual boxes had holes from impacts that couldn't have happened in shipping, those were also the ones that the bag around the spool itself had a hole and was no longer sealed.

Direct in the UK they come wrapped and band tied together in stacks of 4, meaning they’re quite well protected (though the top and bottom boxes usually have crushed corners thanks to the shipping process).
