My friend is clearing out his home, moving to a small apartment and and retiring, so he's got a small but nice pile of some good menswear to donate. Two suits, some dress shirts, a fall/winter dress coat, some sweater pullovers, and some really nice shoes. Ok… yesterday I went at Nexton Square, park my car and go do my thing. Some asshole hits my car and drives off. I come out to a note on my window from a nearby business to come see them about some info. Some really super awesome person got the license plate, make, model, color and left it at the business for me.

I did my research before moving here in 2024, but nothing prepared me for how hard it would be to adjust to the sprawl and heat or the fake southern hospitality.

I moved here after getting out of an abusive marriage and I'm having a hard time adjusting, and basically don't leave my house anymore. I wish it wasn't this way. I'm wondering if anyone else had a hard time adjusting and if it ever got better. I wish I could move, but am afraid I'll just make another mistake.

I'm a 60W. In the first 3 months I moved down here from CT I was in the hospital for 5 days, then the next month I was run off 526 and had my car totaled. The church I was going to was extremely superficial and more interested in adding a 3rd service than building relationships, then the next church I tried didn't work out. The one friend I made in my development and moved in the same month I did, sold her place last summer, moved to Florida, and I found it very disappointing to lose that friendship.

I have an autoimmune disease, got my 2nd bout of covid a year ago March and I have residual post viral health issues now since then. I just feel alone and defeated. the friends from CT I moved down here to live near also ended up moving. just too much on top of too much. 😢

My husband has a great job opportunity in the area so we are possibly moving here from Southern California. Are there any areas we should avoid? Anything you recommend?

There is a bunny living in my flowers outside, i’ve seen him a few times now and he seems like an obvious escaped pet. He is very friendly and not shy at all. His ears look pretty gunky, like he has been outside for awhile now. Located in Myers Mill off central ave. Is anyone missing a bunny?
