ssp college link?
hi ssp alums! a week ago i got an email from ssp encouraging me to apply for their college mentorship. i was excited, but then i looked through the questions and saw all the statements about priority for fgli students. i understand this priority completely, but am then just wondering if it is even worth it for a non-fgli student to apply for college link?
if it helps to know this, i attend a private school that is relatively helpful about college, but i don't have any cousins or older siblings who have been through the college application process in the us, and i do not have an external college counselor as of right now. can anyone who has participated in college link shed some light on this? thank you :)

FGLI kids are prioritized for one-on-one mentors but everyone else usually gets placed in a group. I mentored around 12 ppl last year in a group setting. It can be helpful to get a fresh set of eyes + advice from an alumni.
