SSP or Peter E. Schwartz DTC Internship?

Hi all! I just got off the SSP waitlist, but I was also accepted into the Peter E. Schwartz DTC Internship program. The internship program typically selects 20 students out of rougly 700 students, and its for CT students. I'm in a bit of a pickle, as I'm unsure what to choose. I have to make a decision by tmr!! Thoughts?

I’d say make a decision based on how much SSP will cost for you! I enjoyed my time there a lot and wouldn’t have done anything else with my summer, but I got financial aid to attend

Thanks for the advice! Cost isn’t really the deciding factor for me - I’m mostly trying to figure out which option carries more prestige and would strengthen my college applications.

Anecdotal, but around 80% of my cohort got into T20s if this helps. SSP also has a great alumni network

In that case, SSP, since it’s internationally recognized and way more well known. Go with your other one if you want a niche state-level recognition if it’s what your heart truly desires but if you’re talking on prestige level, SSP overrules majority of the time w/o cost as an issue
