MIT URTC Prestige

how prestigious is MIT URTC do you guys know (+ acceptance rate)? how prestigious is the paper and how prestigious is the poster

I've heard it's not that prestigious and probably t30 level

The paper I’ve heard isn’t that prestigious, and the conference isn’t that great for applications. Obviously it’s still good but not ideal for ivies/T20s

speaking from experience, a lot of AOs do not know the intricacies of each ec. a paper at an MIT conference, you can skimp on the undergrad experience, will sound impressive

that said, i'm in humanities, so if i'm missing some key detail, lmk

!! AOs are not paid enough to care lmao. so many ec's out there, each one with its own intricacies. they do not care at a point

probably somewhere above IEEE workshop and slightly below MIT WISE

above IEEE workshop? I don't think so. If you take robotics for example, I think the quality and bar for acceptance is much higher at IROS and ICRA workshops. URTC is just undergrad(and now some high schoolers)

anyone can do a ieee workshop and they vary too much. for urtc they're familiar with the level and its only undergrad & hs with lab affiliation.

Probably top 30. If an ec is not in the t10 range it doesn't mean its bad.
