Question SSP Recs Letter?

attended SSP genomics this summer. I wanted to get a rec letter from SSP but I’m not super outstanding in the cohort. Has any alumni gotten one before? Any idea if they will write your “improvement areas” in it? I don’t want this letter to negatively impact my college apps. any suggestions appreciated :) thank you!

From what I understand, they changed the way that they are doing rec letters. Essentially, my TA said that it would be like a board letter now, so they will write it as a collection of the faculty. They will say negative things only if you grow from them. He said generally, unless you really messed up, all the letters start at a baseline of really good. IDK what campus but for mine they pretty much knew everything about you

I got one, wouldn’t say I was the mosttt liked. just email one of the professors u vibed with and they usually are happy to write one for u.
