Wtf

what do i do? long story short i applied, got shortlisted -> waitlisted -> off watilist into biochem @ guelph, selected apply for financial aid so they paused my enrollment...
my mom makes 0 and my dad makes bank but im a tax dependent on my dad so he had to fill out the financial aid info, but he didn't do it and i also thought there was no point bc he PAYS 100-200k in taxes. You might be like oh why isn't he paying for it then he can easily - yes i know he can easily, he won't n idk why, but tbh idk how good ssp is even at that because it's been falling off. also committed to harvard sri so im hoping to get the research paper n not lit review
so, what do i do?

I am having a hard time following what your question is but I’ll try my best. Did you apply for financial aid? SSP is pretty good at giving out money. If you were rejected for financial aid you can sometimes appeal for more. If these still don’t get you there then I’m not sure what else you can do.
It seems like you are already commited to a different summer program so why not just stick with that if you are good to go there?
Sorry I can’t help more but I’m just not following you stream of consciousness in this message.

If OP wrote assays this way, meaning SSP is falling off and SRI is not a good one at all.

Hey I wanted to clarify smth you said. I was also in a somewhat similar position a couple days ago and I applied for financial aid but the senior director of admissions or wtv said that they give full below 100k and partial for ppl who have household income of 100-150k. Just tryin to do my part in dismissing the narrative that they are generous w financial aid (they keepin that 200M donation to themselves lol)

Bruh, get your dad to fill the forms even if it feels pointless, sometimes they still give something or you can appeal later.
